Sewing machine is very important to have in the Philippines bc of very many children in the families. Good to see they still have these manual models as very reliable Singer! Our Balikbayan box now for shipping there in September has again another electric sewing machine for the 2 families with 5 children. Used but working. I can recommend this Denman store them if they have some problems with the machines! Thanks for information but these prizes ...much higher than here in "Western word". From second hand stores, recycling centers or flea markets we can find up from some 1500php. Brands for example Bernina, Brother, Husqvarna (Viking), Eva and also Juki and Singer which for someone is "the only" word which means sewing machine from already 1800s! There`s a saying :"Hey! You are running like Singer!!" if someone is doing FINE!

The sewing machines are one of the best tool used by tailors in bringing and giving life to clothes, cloth and many things that a tailor, amateur, novice can do, sewing his or her own clothes. Good thing there's a warranty as well.

Many of those singer trestle tables were made in to pub tables in the uk and many pubs still have them .
