In this video we are excited to launch our festive hashtag #stitchmasparty!
We are inviting you to sew an outfit for the festive period, whether it be for Christmas Day or for a Christmas Party. You can also join us for a KZfaq LIVE (date to be decided) where we will show you what we made too.
Rachel & Nikki will choose one pattern each to make but have picked their top 5 dresses and also their top 5 separates which are perfect for Christmas Parties.

I have been totally out of sewing because life became a rollercoaster for me 😂 but I am settling into a new house now and am looking forward to sewing again. This video is so inspiring! Also, you both look so beautiful ❤️

Hello ladies! I vote for the Victory "Trina" dress for Rachel, and the S8013 for Nikki! :+) I have the "Trina" cut out, and I also have the S8013 pattern I just can never decide on the fabric for that one, it's so beautiful, I want it to be perfection! Maisie(SP) was so adorable!! Thank you, ladies! :+)

Ooooh, I bought 11 metres of habotae silk from an op shop that would be perfect for the Clarissa dress, especially as here in Queensland, Australia, Christmas is very hot!

M8037 view C the cowl neck was recently rocked by Britanny J Jones in red That pattern is on its way to me from Rochelle of Rochelle handmade designs I can now take part in the projects now that I can get the patterns Miss Walthamstow market

A stitchmas party is a fabulous idea! And look at you two filming 🎥 2 videos. I heard you mention "something you've made already" and "upcycled or recycled", so I am thrilled to be ready to party right now!! I made a dress for my son's families-only wedding last November and, believe it or not, I upcycled it (changed the sleeves) for the mid September reception. Sept in S Carolina is definitely still summer so I needed shorter sleeves. I will share photos of both closer to the date. Good luck with your projects, esp the sequins. Look for lots of tips online and have lots of needles ready 😄

Just a note while still watching: for S8013 check Sian from Kittenish behaviour. She made that dress and it turned out rather different from what the enveloppe pictures promise. Luckily she tried it in cheap fabric as a potentially wearable toille. She did not even bother with finishing it, but did show it on her channel.

I have this dilemma at the moment as been invited to a christmas dinner dance in 3 weeks time and don't know if I can get fabric and make one in 3 weeks as I work mon-fri so could be stressful. I'm considering rtw as a back up but anything with stretch I think is quicker and less fitting. Looking forward to your stitchmas party!

Decades of style has some great patterns and they are separated by, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s etc so you would prob find a great match for your event there.

Think sequins for the dress. Something straighter in the body is more 1920, even if you don’t go full flapper girl! You can also buy lovely 1920’s headbands from EBay & Etsy to make it feel more of the period

They're all so great...I tend to like maxi dresses myself. The white one with grommets is really different. I also love the idea of making the off the shoulder one in stretch velvet. :)

I am beyond thrilled that everyone can be included! I want to be at the party, but I have no interest in making a festive or fancy dress. I am struggling to fit in sewing time for wardrobe basics at the moment. The online sewing community definitely keeps me motivated and sewing! You are such dears! These pattern suggestion videos where you discuss the details and possibilities are some of my favorite videos. But truly, any Stitch Sisters video is my favorite, and I stop whatever I am doing to sit down and watch!

Who Dita the robes from times gone by call to be a gown lame , lame. Silk chic lux sequin lv them not that hard to sew . Hip hip hooray and ate4 merry Christmas. Part on thru new year happy happy😍👍
