In this video, Jeff Jantz Sews together the Skin for his puppet. This is the next prototype of a previous Puppet for the Art on Earth project. Using nylon fleece (previously called Anton fleece) for the skin and heavy felt for the mouth plate. Jeff is using a SINGER | Heavy Duty 4452 Sewing Machine.
Why Nylon Fleece? It stretches a lot better than the fleece you would buy for sweaters or blankets. this makes it a lot better for fitting on unique surfaces.
Quick Tip: "Make sure you use a lot of pins, especially in the mouth plate."
Great place for fleece, fur, and also other puppet supplies.

Disclaimer: I did get the fleece in this video from another supplier but I buy fleece from puppet pelts whenever possible. They just didn't have the color I needed at the time I bought this fleece. I will say the fleece I have bought from puppet pelts was a lot better quality.
