Welcome to my sewing room mess! I'm presenting to you my sewing/craft room makeover ~before and after. You will come along with me as I organize fabric, vacuum and put everything back together in my sewing space.
I will give you a tour of my sewing room!
there will be lots of organizing bins and vacuuming and folding fabric!
I will show you how I organize all my sewing notions on my peg board.

No judgment here. You are a busy mom. When my kids were young perhaps it was a good thing I didn't have a sewing room because I certainly wouldn't have had time to tidy it up. I was happy to have time to sew in the evenings after they went to bed. Your room looks beautiful. You must be so inspired to start creating all kinds of things now.

You know what I love - those dividers on your shelf. What a great idea! I also have to confess that all that carpet makes me all the more thankful for my vinyl plank flooring - #notacarpetperson A very big however though - I live where it's always warm, so I don't need that cozy softness on my feet. Your room is so cute and definitely a place that looks inspiring and like you'd love being in it. Thanks for sharing it with us!

yes we have cold winters and my sewing room is in our basement so it gets cold! i do love those shelf dividers as well and you are right, i love being in that room...i never knew how cute it was..I couldn't see it with all the mess!

Great job making a very cute and useful rim. Love that you show so many options for storage that are very affordable. I do appreciate that you make a point on not wasting money sewing something like your curtains that could be cheaper if you buy them. I do love sewing curtains but it can get so expensive. Great video too, very entertaining.

You need one of those plastic mats for the floor so your chair rolls around easier. Nice job.

What a beautiful happy place & thanks for taking us on this journey! Love your colors! My floors are laminate ( no carpet), easy to clean & when I drop pins I have this great tool my husband gave me for picking up the lost pins; it has a handle about 16" long with a magnet on the end. I know I'd be more productive if I'd take time to purge, clean & organize! Happy Sewing my friend!

Wow what a great transformation. You’ve created a beautiful, inspiring and functional space. I need to rethink my space and may look at some of your ideas. The way you’ve dealt with the scrap fabric makes it much more useable. And love and am getting the shelf dividers . Love your T-shirt n want to get one like it. Thanks for sharing

Hello there. This is the 2nd time I have watched your video. The first time I missed your question about the extra masks you have. Here in NY state some retirement communities, senior centers and a few nursing homes will accept them. They also might be a good item to donate to local schools for kids to use. Just some suggestions ... The Room looks awesome!

great job! I see you have pinking shears and mentioned how you like them, do you think you could do a lesson on using pinking shears? I learned to use them a good 60 yrs ago and still prefer the pinked edge over various other options to prevent fraying but from watching other videos I do believe many younger sewers as well as those who are self taught have not learned about how useful they are. I also use micro-serrated edge shears for cutting out slippery fabrics. I have a nice selection of good scissors and shears and I do think others would love to learn just how handy they are.

hi. I have a mac so I went on amazon to find a cover for it. Anything that can be dressed up like that adds a cute personal touch.

yes and no...its there updated "new and improved" version. they don't sell my version anymore...but the newer one has more options.

i was getting them on amazon but there is a cheaper place that i'm going to shop and its called upaknship.com. Check them out for the mailers. I enjoy having my shop..its kinda fun!
