I can definitely use that for all the bits that constantly seem to walk from where I put them down! Save me all that hunting around my table. A great idea I can see will stop the walking bits I need 😌

Could anyone tell me what seam allowance was used please? I am guessing half inch based on the size of the card in comparison to the width of the fabric. Thanks in advance

Can I ask why you used the pretty flower fabric when you don't see any of it?

You do when it's opened as your easel for your sewing or whatever else bits. If your sewing for a few hours, it's lovely to see that happy fabric, don't you think?

The chicken fabric you see and it is lovely, but I meant that piece Debbie layed the chicken fabric on. You can only see about half an inch poking out. I just thought it was a shame you couldn't see it . I wasn't trying to be negative. I just wondered why she didn't use plain and save that gorgeous fabric for a staring role in another project.
@debbieshore

I just happened to have plenty of the fabric! Plain would probably be more cost effective though...

The two base pieces need to be 8,5'' x 2 plus the 2'' for the space in the middle and seam allowances, so 19'' long.
