Sewing Themed Journals Part 1

I am doing a series of journals with a sewing theme.
1. A basic sewing themed journal made from an old book. The cover will be heavily embellished.
2. A needle book for personal use.
3. A lace book.
4. An ideas book made out of an antique quilt with both fabric and paper pages in its signature.

I have a friend in n Car who also is stuck in the snow. We at the the edge of Lake Erie, especially those of us living at the top of the hills on the northeast side of the state watch for snow plows and craft. Thank you for the inspiration. My family is full of quilters. I’ve made needle books but next Christmas everyone is getting pattern storage.

School canceled again for students here. I hope your friend gets on the road again soon. I will be in Cleveland in a few weeks with my mother at the Cleveland Clinic. We always go sit by the water in the car and enjoy the lake.

Edgewater is my fave. Whiskey Island is small but nice. So many beautiful walks along the Lake. But wear your winter gear.

I love the art museum. We use to go several times in the summer. The Colony on Murray Hill looks like it has survived the pandemic, so that’s a thing. Lakeview Cemetery is amazing. East 4th Street and the Gallery has hung on. Weekend downtown programs are so fun. The Christmas Story House is open year round. My son knows the best estate sellers and auction houses, I know the best junk stores. Cuyahoga Valley Rail Road goes from Independence to Canton Ohio, with stops along the way. You don’t have to go all the way to Canton. There are two dead presidents nearby and three more a day trip away. There is a football museum and a First Ladies’ Museum both in Canton. We go lots of stuff to see.

I cannot believe it….I live in WV. Small world. Perhaps we need to have a bookmaking session🤓. I love watching you and I have been waiting for your new videos - understanding those kiddos come first. I love the wooden embellishments. I will check those out. Excited to see this book come together!
