Looks Great! You can speed up your hole punching by putting the punch in a drill and it will burnish the sides of the hole too making stitching a bit easier. Thanks for the great videos!

I know someone who worked at Tandy he uses a slab of marble to pound holes and some Tandy's offer classes on how to do stuff

It seems that AI didn't make organic animal with plenty fur in the actual HZD world. Then, how did people gather fur material (lol)? Fox? But,it's too small.

Making some good progress it looks like! With punching holes in the leather I've used a small board of plywood for backing, works for both punches and awls. I like the type of punch you're using in the video for when there needs to be a hole made some distance away from the edge of the leather, for the work you're demonstrating I'd recommend the rotary leather punch, it would cut the work time in half (the people at Tandy might have shown you) it would be more of an investment if you plan on doing a lot of work with leather in the future.How do you like the leather glue? I use contact cement when making sheaths.

BEAUTIFUL. I am curious as I am about to try and make my own - how much suede did you end up getting for the top and the skirt panels?

My mother works with faux leather a lot for sewing purses, and it can be so irritating... she went through a lot of needles and even a machine in the beginning haha.

Hi! Your videos have been so useful and I hope my own Aloy ends up looking half as good as yours. Can I ask though, your leather overshirt fits so well, is there a zipper in one of the underarm seams?

Suede isn't as expensive as real buckskin, just putting things into perspective.

I use binder clips and the similar techniques when sewing leather. Plus and old 70's Singer machine which has steel internals. Also a rotary punch for edgework and a punch mat using the hard type of modular floor mat. She has the mad skillz.
