Put a straight pin at the end and the seam ripper won't cut all the way through. 😇

I'm a Ugandan and currently learning how to be tailor at school , it's really very difficult especially when the school you expected to show and teach you aren't even helping much yet you pay school fees , many informations are left out and you are left alone to figure it out . I desire to know how cloth are made, am 25 now and when I was below this age , I used to think that cloths come from machines ready made , whenever I would buy a fabric for sewing, I would be upset saying the tailors are wasting my cloths 😂, I need advice, what electricity machine brand is good and can be afforded within east Africa?? , and can anyone be willing to offer help on how to do beginners tutoring freely with me ?? ..
