Nice review. It's refreshing to hear from someone who is just an average guy rating on quality of smell instead purely on uniqueness. I know fragrance snobs love to rip on scents like this, and I get tired of trying ones they love, only to find they smell like old cigars or stale booze. I just want to smell GOOD, I don't need to be "unique," and that's what my wife likes too. She smelled this and loved it, so I am definitely getting some. Good work. I will definitely check out your reviews from now on!

So I got this tester as well and I'm so amazed you can describe it in such detail. I'm now actually smelling it all over again to see if I actually missed out on the different descriptions. I love the comment about it's not unique...very candid.

One of the Shoppers Drug Mart stores here on the LMD has it for $19.99 (30ml), it was the last bottle, snapped it up. Very impressed with it ! I ordered Jimmy Choo MAN Ice prior to purcashing this, looking forward to it. This store has a bunch of very decent brands on the end shelf, rare for these stores. It is now my hidden gem to go to :)

You're sort of correct on the Finger Lime. It a native plant here in Queensland, Australia. Pretty tasty to eat too! Very different to other citrus fruits as it stores the liquid in little bubble like balls.

Smelled this for the first time yesterday. I thought it was a really nice fragrance and thought it a bit more of an everyday fragrance over night time, but that's just me. Agree with you that it is not original, but good smell nonetheless. This seems similar to another one I had from this house (Jimmy Choo Man Intense) which is a nice juice, but just don't give you much longevity. I will likely pick this up once it hits discounters.

Was at Sq1 last Sunday and smelled it. Invictus vibes in the opening, moving into pepper in the mid. Rather boring when compared with Guerlain's L'eau Boisee which I was also testing. Incidentally, I didn't like Sauvage parfum either, but at least I made an attempt to get them to sell me their Ferrari Leather Essence tester. lol Seems like no amount of charm will get those, ahem, 'experienced' ladies to budge. Bless them. Who knows. Maybe one day.

I've been wearing this ladies have said it's not a in your face fragrance but it is very pleasant to kiss a man and lay in bed to because it has a woody and soft warm leather smell that doesn't get annoying,but the performances doest realease more that 1 metre away
