I just bought myself a shiny new white Xbox controller, not even 2 months ago, and it's been great. It does all I need it to do - it has waggly sticks, tappy-tap buttons, and triggers that do the triggery thing in all their fully-opaque glory. Which makes it all the more difficult for me to convince myself that it is in fact wholly inadequate for my needs, and that only a flashy new £70 Starfield controller will suffice.... But sod it, I'm gonna have a damned good try at it anyway!!

I've been waiting for a controller I liked enough to replace my current kind of shit wired only one. Seems like this is going to be the one, I really do like the aesthetic of this. I'm not a super big fan of white/cream controllers but I appreciate the textured grip in the gray color to hopefully minimize sweat buildup/discoloration. Can't wait to share in your excitement exploring the world once the game finally releases.

I bought one and it's put up in its box until Starfield is out.

The regular xbox controllers minus the elite series I use the rechargeable battery pack instead of using regular batteries. As much as I want the Starfield controller it doesn't look like you can use those battery packs. Anyone know what is the best rechargeable AA batteries to use that have really worked out good for you? IMO this was a design flaw in this controller.

I'm trying to get the watch but can't find it sold separately

£70 and it takes AA’s, and you can’t put a battery pack on there without ruining the aesthetic. Nice
