Written during the last summer break I will ever have, everlasting summer is about coming to terms with inevitable change and holding on to something beautifully precious for as long as you can. This album continues my venture into the unknown world of lofi jazzhop x orchestra. What I started in illusions of the heart, I continue to experiment on here except this time, branching into even more genres like funk that I have never approached before. It is my wish through everlasting summer to convey that by letting something go, we make it truly everlasting, forever as a part of our memories. Seycara, I know there's not a high chance you see this comment since it's on a video over a year old, but I just wanted to say that this album wonderfully captures the message you wrote about in the pinned comment. I've listened to the album several times now, but this time I listened with that intended meaning in mind. Even though I've heard the songs before, by the time it got to "all gone" and especially "when the first leaf falls," I nearly broke down crying. As someone who is quickly approaching their end of college, I found the emotions of your music strongly resonated with me. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world, as it is truly something special, and I am so glad to see you getting such big composing opportunities recently! I cannot express how this album made me feel. I honestly wouldn't consider myself an emotional person, but I do think a lot. While thinking it's inevitable t come across the thought of an end. Not for anything specific, but just an end. An end to a book, a life, a song, or whatever else. For the first time in a long time, I feel content with an end, like I'm fully willing to let something go. An emotional bliss that is bittersweet and lasting. I think this is the first time I have been satisfied at the end. Splendid work, as always, and I truly hope you have a wonderful time in life doing what you want to. Words cannot do justice here, but I hope I expressed something.

There's a common theme between the first track to illusions of the heart and butterfly bossa that I love. It's the crescendo of the strings building up to the climax. I don't know how to put it, but it's a really emotional feeling, and I can't get enough of it. Thank you Seycara-san for your works 💞

This album was absolutely lovely. The lofi aesthetic mixed with a jazz-hip hop, orchestration type of musical complexity marries together so many different worlds of my music taste. Another fantastic album from you. I keep looking forward to listening to these. They invite calmness back into my hectic life and allow me to step back and just relax and sink into a feeling akin to a large bean bag. As I get older, my life changes, especially as I am getting closer to the end of college and and used to living a somewhat normal adult life, but I am glad to know that I can come here and just relax. Your orchestrations and music are as beautiful as always. Keep doing what you are doing. :)

To be honest....the piece All Gone is like the breakup song in this whole playlist- It's like they get along and then it's all of a sudden... all gone.

I have one year of college before I get a master's. I can't delay it anymore, after this summer I'll be a full adult and never again have a truly carefree summer. I feel like I ought to have spent my previous summers better now that I'm reminiscing the precipice, but what made them good were the fact I didn't stress over every minute detail of perfection. I'm happy for the summers I've had, and hope I can always find moments to be blissful and free in my future. Seycara really makes me reflect on life like no one else.

Man, seycara is so underated. After listening to illusions of the heart and everlasting summer, I feel like he has the most authentic lofi songs that I never get bored listening to. Love your work man ❤

I was introduced to your channel when I stumbled upon an orchestral arrangement of Snail House's Lullaby. When I listened to [illusions of the heart], I felt very surreal and out of this world (but not enough to stop me from doing my work), and that same feeling comes with this album as well. However, unlike the previous album, this one makes me feel melancholic and distant. Keep up the amazing releases! P.S. When I heard [everlasting summer ft. bao], it absolutely snapped me out of surreality. It was something I didn't think I would hear again (the title of the album was familiar for this reason), and I was very glad that I could hear it again!
