In the key of A. The key of A for a "standard" pentatonic (correction: it is NOT a pentatonic, rather its a diatonic) harmonica is a little on the low side of the scale compared to say a C or F harp. But the tones of the A harp seem to be really nice and rich.
Each of these harps is great in their own right. The Seydel seems a little smoother and easier to keep the same volume throughout playing it. The Special 20 is a bit more wild, but a lot of fun. I seem to be a little more creative with the Special 20 for some reason. But I would use the Seydel to record something because I like the evenness of it.
