Thank you so much ☺️ the set is really pretty, I just don’t quite feel myself in it! The color, feel and texture are simply perfect though. I’ve seen this set in a lot of Instagram accounts - completely different body types, I really liked it on everyone, but of course we need to feel comfortable in it. If you like the style, I’d give it a try :) Having a store nearby is so helpful indeed, I don’t go very often, but it’s super handy when I do 😁

thank you,Mila. Great choices. I bought the bottle green sami and naelle straight away when it came out and have worn it a lot already. It work fine for petites. I’m 5’3 and got the skirt in s and the jumper in xs. The bottle green works fine for warm & dark autumn ( and probably deep winters as well). Love Betty as well. I tend to get it in xs ( my usual size is s).

Thanks for the in-depth review! I think the Sami/Naelle combo looked lovely on you, but you're so right that the most important thing is how you feel in it. I was so close to ordering that set in bottle green because I adore how it looks, but, like you, I just don't really think it's right for me. Also, I enjoyed your review of the Ralph jacket--mine is arriving tomorrow!

I keep getting tempted by the Naelle skirt, but I worry about the unstructured fabric and showing bumps. I also worry about creating a tapered shape below the hips (not what I want as a pear shape).

I know you said you are not comfortable with the Sami, the midi skirt, and the two together, but I think you look absolutely beautiful in them. The skirt is especially flattering. But, I understand it when an item does not quite feel right. I have the Sami in natural, and I hardly ever reach for it. The bottle green one when back. I did decide to keep the bottle green skirt, and I am actually wearing it right now with a hooded sweatshirt. It is so comfortable and warm. I dress it up. I dress it down. Like you, I sized up because I wanted the waistband to be more comfortable and hide my lumps. It still fits nicely. I bought the Betty in white and black, too. I haven't worn it yet, but I sized up like you did, and I really like the larger size. , as you say, it is a harder to style. The contrast makes it a bit more formal than many of the others. But, this Betty is a showpiece, especially if you keep the rest of the outfit reasonably simple. It is very beautiful and elegant on you, even when paired with jeans. Your coloring also carries the contrast well.

I love everything on you! personally, I think the Sami/Naelle sets look amazing on you, very chic and elegant. I was lucky and i was able to pick up the black/ecru betty this morning via restocks . I also picked up the bottle green betty, as well. I'm currently selling my new Manon jumper as it didn't work for me, and I was really lucky to find the mederick coat secondhand, for 60% off the retail price.

Oh lucky you! Mederick is a wonderful coat! It’s so pricey here in the US, I have the vintage blue one but would love it in another color. Finding it 60% off retail is such a great deal! What color did you get? I love Manon, but I don’t reach much for mine either (a bit too bulky around the waist and hard to tuck in). I’m so happy to hear you were able to score the black&white Betty, hope you love it 😍

@@milainnewyork I got the camel colour, over $500 after taxes was a lot for me (US Based) so I'm happy. Sezane removed the original colours of the mederick coat from the site, hopefully I can get the navy once the archives come around. That's the reason why I decided to sell the manon jumper it's too bulky to tuck in, and it gapes in the front around the neckline; I didn't get the chance to return during the orginial return window, so hopefully it goes to a new home and someone loves it. I can't wait to receive my black & white ecru betty! and to see your Betty video. i love this style so so much!

I totally know what you mean about the Sami/Naelle. Even though they look great on you, it's hard to know which is the best colour and fit. It can be very frustrating but I definitely appreciate the feedback! I would love to know how you care for/wash your Sezane wardrobe. Do you have a video on that or will you please do one? 😄

I sized up to a L in the Naelle skirt, but got the matching Sami jumper in my regular size M. I don’t have much in the way of hips, but I didn’t want it too tight at the waist, or clinging too much. I’m glad I did. The only thing I don’t like about this set is the crew neck, which isn’t the best on me. They don’t have many V-neck jumpers and the ones they do are far too low-cut and sexy, which isn’t for me. I just want more open necklines which are still modest so I can wear them anywhere. I love matching sets so much that I compromised on the neckline this time. I so wish they had reviews, so we could send feedback. Thanks so much for your reviews!❤

You did the right thing, I also sized up for Naelle in the natural set. Looks and feels much better! I agree 100% with the neckline and I mention that in almost all my videos because it’s something that bothers me so much. Have you tried Angelie? I’ll be reviewing the new vintage blue color soon, but I have reviewed the beige one before. It’s a V neck but not too low, it’s also not super itchy. Bree and Lyna have buttons on the front, I like the neckline, both very comfortable too. I don’t know if you’re on Instagram, but Sezane is very active there and I see lots of people requesting styles and colors, they don’t have reviews on the website but they definitely take feedback ❤️

Hi Mila, i think the medium green betty looks too big on you. I know your logic of getting medium but to me it looks quite larger for your body. The colour looks so nice on you. Wanting me to get it too even though i betty dnt suit me. I loved the navy sami set on you. I think navy looks really good on you. Very helpful video as always. Sezane released this color a while ago, so unfortunately is no longer available on the website. You should have the bezel setting if your new necklace checked by a jeweler at least once a year. This type of setting is notorious for the gemstone falling out, the glue just dries out, especially in drier climates. I’ve lost every one I had set this way, a 6-prong, or at least 4-prong setting is much more reliable.

Loved this video. The necklace was beautiful and I loved the black and white Betty with the hounds tooth skirt. I do sell my clothes I'm not wearing on Poshmark. Your expertise on Sezane is second to none. What would you suggest for my first piece to purchase from Sazane? There are so many pieces I want but my budget will only allow me to purchase one piece a month. Ty so much.

I just want to buy every Betty cardigan, but I’m trying to control myself a bit. I’m really more of a blazer gal. I’m not crazy about any of Sezane’s blazers, I want more classic, fitted styles. I’m also having a hard time airing out the taupe goat leather skirt, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to tolerate the smell enough to wear it.

I wasn’t thrilled with my last Sezane order, for the first time. The pink knit dress is incredibly itchy and the striped Mariniere top has bracelet- or 3/4-length sleeves, which I hate. My lower arms get too cold in them. Fortunately, I just got some cashmere wrist warmers to cover the wrist gap, but don’t like wearing them that much. Maybe I didn’t read the description carefully enough, but it sure looked long-sleeved to me. The Betty wool is ok, and the cotton/wool blend of the Naelle set, but I won’t buy any more of their fuzzy knits.

Thank you for explaining that sizing up in Betty allows the collar be less stiff and hang open. That stiffness has been what’s prevented me from buying. I always buy XS in Sezane sweaters because they are so roomy-do you recommend I buy S or M? I’m 5’7” but short torso. ❤ Thanks and I just love your videos.

I sized up. I bought them in my size previously. I didnt like the tighter, more formal fit on me (although others look great in it). I prefer it to be a little looser because it seems more casual while still flattering and comfortable.

The skirt and top (beige) looked ok at a distance. But close up, the ribbed pattern was too much for you. The Ralph jacket looks too bulky. You know what would look good on it? If it had a band or belt in the back between the side seams and if the bottom of the jacket flared in back slightly. That would pull it in a bit and give it more shape.

No never! I normally text them via WhatsApp and get back to me within 24 hours. Emails take longer, but WhatsApp so far has been fast and they were quite responsive. Are you having trouble with them? ☹️
