A little about Fashion and Style Edit
I launched fashion and style edit a couple of yers ago and it's been one amazing adventure ever since. I hoped to put all my years working in the fashion industry to good use. How to style outfits and advice and style tips on how to get the most out of your own capsule wardrobe. I love discovering new brands, designers and affordable high street fashion, but I always veer towards the more sustainable fashion and ethical brands. I try to buy well, I want my and your clothes to last as long as possible and I like to find helpful and interesting ways to do that. I love effortless, timeless style and just hope my channel gives you a little inspiration along the way. Jess x

Beautiful, as always. At 5ft 2” I’d be so happy if Sézane were to launch a petite range. I’d like to be able to order their jeans and tailored trousers without having to make alterations. Thank you for not forgetting us smaller peeps xx

I’m surprised they’re isn’t more dedicated petite brands out there tbh, definitely a gap in the market if anyone fancies starting a brand! Have a lovely rest of the weekend hun x

I don understand why they don’t. I remember doing a survey for Reiss, I suggested petite bottoms. Next thing they stated introducing petite range. I think many people suggested it

I am 5‘3 and the problem with too long pants and blouses are everywhere. So etimes in catalogues they state: Model wears sizeS and is 1,79 m. Gosh,.. is this the avarage woman. I am 1.60 m , weight 52 and need M sometimes, sometimes S but always I have to shorten pants and the proportions aren‘ t given anymore.. Also a toolong ballon sleeves I can‘ t shorten. The problem is everywhere with cheap and expensive brands.

I am French and yes it is true we call them babies as they look like babies shoes with their round shape a bit . I think that is where the name ‘babies’ comes from. I love Sézane shoes 😍

Thanks for doing Sezane. I try to buy several of their pieces each season and find their web pics often don't show wnough of the clothes to assess the fit.

I love the shoes! They’re very flattering because the straps cross relatively low on the vamp, unlike most Mary Janes, which tend to “cut off” the foot and leg with straps high on the foot (I’ve always worn MJs anyway, they’re so classic).

I am quite a bit older than you and have NEVER been so obsessed with a brand like I am with Sezane 💕 Concerning doing coats up I swear I don't understand influencers who always say they don't. I agree it looks great but I live in Denmark and it is COLD here 🥶 and coats have a purpose 😉 Love all the pieces you decided to show here 👏

Hi Nette, I couldn’t agree more! They just get it so right don’t they. And I think testament to their designers you can always spot a Sezane piece a mile off, just those little attention to detail that makes all the difference:) Re coats I am that ridiculous person who likes to leave mine undone 🤣 And I hate the cold too so it is silly of me! Ask me again though in the height of Winter and I bet I’ve forgotten that idea haha! Happy Sunday lovely x

Oh what fun!!!! Nothing makes me happier than a Sezane haul ;). My favs were the lace blouse and the black ankle boots. I'm very sad that I can't buy any shoes from Sezane. They don't have half sizes and I'm always right in between the size 7 and 8. I also agree that the Chloe shirt is PERFECT! I have one in my wardrobe and it's one of my favorite shirts. I’m yet to buy anything from Sezane but search on the site regularly. I still have my eye on the Martin trousers in chambray. No doubt I have mentioned this before but Lydia Tomlinson said to size up for a nicer fit, but the site says size down 🤔. I don’t want them to be too tight, so I just need to decide on size 10 or 12. You’re so lucky to be able to try on in store. Great video - love the format 💗

I absolutely love the houndstooth check blazer and trousers outfit. The white lace blouse was another favourite! You have single-handedly turned me into a Sezane fan. I purchased my first two Broderie Anglais blouses from Sezane this past Summer and have my eye on a couple of items that you showed in a recent video...the navy coat and the navy sweater with button details at the shoulder. I love Sézane, and I have several pieces from them. The pink coat has my heart, but I’m trying my best to be mindful of my budget, but Sezane makes it so hard to stick to it🥰

Hi Karen, yes that's one of the main reasons I went for them:) I wanted a bit of heigh but if I go too high I just find boots so painful:/ These felt like a lovely compromise between the two and I think I could easily wear them all day. Loved your Sézane haul Looking fabulous in all the clothes loved the coats you tried Yes I am 5ft 3 I expect the trousers would be a bit on the long side Have you bought any of there jumpers or cardigans and are they true to size ❤

Hi Naomi, yes sadly I think you might struggle with the suit trousers but I think the jeans would work:) I’ve bought a lot of not wear from Sezane in the past and I always find it true to size and beautiful quality. Hope that helps x

Will do lovely:) Although I will say I rarely find their pieces itchy, I would say if I did. I have quite bad eczema too so I’m really sensitive to things but somehow I can wear almost all of their pieces. I think 100% mohair is the only one that I find a little harder, if it’s a blend I seem to get on okay with it x

Hi there Jess, hope all is well with you. Don't Sezane do blouses well, they're so lovely and drape beautifully. I've had a couple of pairs of paperbag trousers but the waistband gather has flopped over and the look is lost! Mind you mine were far cheaper than the Sezane. It all looked gorgeous as usual, lucky lady. Can't believe I was in the garden with a vest on yesterday, this weather is crazy. Off to finish painting my fences now, have a great day x

I'm obsesed with the brand Sezane 😍. In Germany is no Store so i order everything online. Beautiful unique pieces ♥️. The brand is in Germany not popular.

I grew up in Santa Monica, CA & am too a wimp in the cold. I lived in Denver, CO for 11 months. I thought I would freeze 🥶 to death. It was -2°/ -,18 Celsius one day. So, I moved. Ooh, I love the London Sezane shop. 🥰 It’s on my list to visit with my husband when we head out Christmas shopping for me 🥰🎅🎄 That plaid suit is gorgeous, and I love the Paulin ecru coat and I’ve just picked up the brut sexy jeans in the same wash and they really do give. I've seen that Sezane has larger sizes too. A good thing , not all of us are size 36 and 38.

I like Sézane too, though I usually pick different pieces from what you show. Like the “babies” you chose, and yes I have recently learned that is what Mary Janes (closed or slingback) are called in France (eg see Carel or Jonak).

I went there a month ago, and bought a few items. They told me they would be closing in January. B.t.w. I got the Brut sexy jean in black, and they have stretched out so much that now I am disappointed I didn't size down.they still look okay, but a bit frumpy, as there is now too.much material on the bottom and saggy knees. The other items are fine...cloe shirt in orange, denim shirt and a beautiful black lace top. I Hope they open a permanent store in Barcelona...but it will be a temptation !!

Sézane calls anything babies if the are pumps. I’ve noticed this with all French clothing stores. Pumps are babies.

Hi Susan, that is a tough one. In all honesty I'm not sure. I'm wearing my usual size in store a small and that's pretty long on me so I worry even the 8 might still be too long:/ What about The Curated? It is a little more pricey but gorgeous quality too and I think the length is just that little bit more petite friendly x
