PUAVARANUKROH's smashing and speed are matching Zheng Siwei and TAERATTANACHAI kept the pressure going on at the back with her powerful smashes (she has amazing strength as a woman), and both of them looked very sharp and kept the pressures on with a lot of great flat defense.Well deserved win.

Ikr, they kept up the pressure so well & not allowing Huang to be near front net and just go for attack after attack. They made very little mistake this game as well. I'm crying for them as well, seeing how often the come so close to win it in the semi or final but fell short. I'm rooting for them tmr.

Thailand pair played so much better than the matched in Malaysia Open. The pair played very awesome badminton, Yaqiong was pulled far from the net and it seems succeed.... The great and unbeaten pair was finally beaten.

well, for me it’s not a surprise that the thais won this game, they have the greatest strategy to beat the unbeatable chinese pair, it’s just their errors and luck that kept them losing

That's basically the strategy for all mixed doubles. It's not just that. PUAVARANUKROH's smashing and speed are matching Zheng Siwei and TAERATTANACHAI kept the pressure going on at the back with her powerful smashes (she has amazing strength as a woman), and both of them looked very sharp and kept the pressures on with a lot of great flat defense.Well deserved win.

Chye Heng Of course I know that's basical but in fact it's not easy at all when the opponents are so strong 😂. You can see that at the matches in the past among these two pairs. In this match Thai team did well with very few errors

Observation 101: Strongest player (Man in yellow) hitting hardest on the female player (Woman in maroon). It is 2 against 1 all throughout the game especially the final point.

Sebenarnya dah banyak orang yang tau cara mengalahkan Zheng/Huang, hanya saja mental belum mampu menandingi mereka, intinya buat Zheng Siwei pontang panting kanan kiri, smash jangan lurus.

WS: seed 1,2,3,4 reached semifinal, and seed 1,2 went to final. MD: also , seed 1,2,3,4 reached semifinal, but seed 3,4 succeded to final.

Again, I cannot stress enough how annoying this is! The first time ever the pair from Thailand is able to win against the undisputed number ones in the world, and the viewer does not even get that sweet element of surprise, that long awaited satisfaction, ruined by a freaking thumbnail!!! Aaaargh

serial battles, 7 days fight in a roll, wear out zheng/huang pair, huang yq obviously showing fatigue, lots of poor returns when both thai players aim smash at her, that's normal mode,

well, I could say that the chinese pair isnt in fatigue, I believe they are used to play many matches from one to another matches. Thai worked their strategy very well and having solid defense compared to their performance in Malaysia Open semifinal, last time these two pairs met. Another thing, the Thai played at their very best form and they also kept Ziwei busy at the back line from one corner to another. Thai pair minimize their errors as well. So it's really a very good match to watch since there's no one way traffic badminton as always see when this Chinese pair play on court.
