17:43 This was genius. Kazunoko took the hit on the drive impact and just barely got the meter to counter it when Big Bird went for it a second time.

that interaction on wakeup at 18:20 was eye opening man. kazunoko has not enough drive to drive parry, nor enough to avoid burnout from a meaty attack, nor enough health to take a combo, nor enough super meter to reversal. he therefore takes the sliver of drive he has left and ex DPs hoping to side switch so that if he gets burned out he at least has a whole stage to back up behind until burnout ends but bigbird calculates it and doesnt punch, even though just a jab would checkmate 90% of kazu's options. very beautiful

BigBird comin with the crazy marisa tech against crazy cammy combos. My Marisa game just got 5% better from watching

Cammy is tough match up for Marissa. Kazunoko has really good defence and BigBird had to dig deep to mix it up. Control grabs were key

@@TheUpstreamer BigBird had a hard time opening Kazunoko up if the first half. Can't explain in technically, but much of early pressure had no results and Kazunoko would sit back and counter all of it. I think Punks Cammy has his number too.

BigBird himself said it's around even. Moreover first few matches were just getting used to, then BB absolutely destroyed Kazunoko.

@@bdyms i wouldn't say absolutely destroyed. It was close in every match. Still feels like it was out of comfort zone for how BigBird usually plays Marissa

@@5r3t5n0m it was close because both are pro players, but otherwise it felt like Kazunoko ran out of options and was holding for his life.
