Daigo has gotten much better.. earlier he was looking pretty basic showed signs of flash but mostly stale but now look like he’s been practicing alot including different tourneys is shaping him as well… and YAS timing in jumping over a Raging demon to finish a match impressive. He never disappoints. Ima a big ryu fan 🔥

The way Daigo plays Akuma compared to other Akuma pros Daigo does not use Akuma to its full Potential just fireball and footsies is his game , watch angry bird plays akuma or Fujimura they superior to Daigo Akuma and far more aggressive, Akuma has got to be an aggressor

Nah, ryu lvl 1 is -24 and the start up of akumas heavy adamant flame is 23 frames. Daigo likely just mistimed his punish, even top players aren't perfect

If you think about it for a second, you'll conclude that he has to be winning a lot more than KZfaq upload channels show. Nonetheless, you can just load the game, go to CFN, and check his real-time win rate for yourself. All stats are public (though he has secret accounts he uses for training so we don't know those stats). 🙃 Right now, in Phase 4, his win rate, over his last ~4000 battles: - With "Any" character is 60.6% - His Akuma win rate is 58.38% and - His Ken win rate is 68.87%. Roughly then, he wins 6/10 matches he plays.
