Man this looks tough on AKI’s side. She needs hard gambles to turn the tide while JP just needs to play fundamentals. DCQ’s setups are just so well calculated and deadly.

It looks even too me. He clearly can't us zoning tools. Anytime he drive rushed and there is no punishment it prevention that isn't a JP thing that's an Aki thing

@@Alexavian you obviously haven’t watched the best AKI player in the world before (Hikaru) to just determine he cant use zoning tools. He knows how to play AKI. I’d take Hikaru’s reasoning on how he approached playing JP than yours any day.

@@JohnSmith-uf3ynShe is anti zoner but JP’s neutral button is also good. What he did here is just playing mid range neutral with AKI, whiff punish her buttons and win. Just watch more games of Hikaru/Word vs DCQ/Kakeru. Basically our beloved top AKI mains got destroyed 90% of the time when facing top JPs.

The people on Event hubs noted that JP, regardeles his tier, don t gain titles as much as Ken and Luck. Seems to me that the problem is the lack of combo routs that don t burn all of his resources.

AKI really needs some better frame data next patch... For a character that needs to get close to work her game, having nothing to force a guessing game without meter kinda hurts...
