Which combos do you struggle with? His link from hp to kill rush launch is kinda strict, but from mp-hp its much easier. Just use od snatcher from hp, or heavy blitz

@@iZonkGaming2021 you are right. I have to realise that I don't need to know or do every possible combo. The easy ones should be more than enough. It's how to deal with aggressive pressure as Ed which should be my focus for now.

Thx Joe! Good tip. I did try to explain in the Drive Rush section that you can go into lp to “jail them”, so that they cant do an od reversal if the cmp is blocked but i understand that might not be that obvious haha

@joewalker3254 i dont think hes rush down, he’s a neutral heavy character that is good at moving in and out and feiting. Ending Walker is an awesome watch. If you like, I can upload some of my footage next week to showcase how he should be played in my opinion

​@@iZonkGaming2021I second this and have been saving every new match from him on my Ed playlist. Ending Walker was the best SFV Ed and now he's back at it, definitely someone to watch for Ed gameplay.

Imo heavy and even medium dp are so slow, its such a risk. Hk would be my advice for anti airing a bit further away from your light dp. And if you were in the middle of whiffing something and they jump, you gotta block. His invul wont safe you, jump back jab is also good…. Reaaaally hope they make his dp’s a liiiiittle faster on SU..just a few frames would make me love playing him

I crouch, so i hold down back. When they jump i let go of back, so im only holding down and i tab forward twice. That will give you ↘️⬇️↘️ which gives the dp. So just hold down and tab forward twice as you’re holding down

Ex dp is fully invincible so thats your best option, next to lvl1 and 3 super. You input it as Ed gets up. Theres a 7f window, its pretty generous now (was much shorter on release, which was too difficult). Good luck! Depending on your level of play, Id recommend just blocking until they throw every time though

I haven’t played with the ps5 pad but i heard negative reviews on it (for fighting games)…i dunno, maybe try the ps4 controller or a lever lees maybe? (I play on hitbox, it has many other variants that are less expensive and smaller) i enjoy the buttons over pad though its a bit heavy and big

What exactly is the combo you wanna do? I think you should be able to do cr mp, (tab parry for the drive rush), hp. If you have a time i can look at what you mean in the video and see what combo it is you wanna do and how to input it

@@iZonkGaming2021 The combo is at 9:18 and the issue I am having is the light psycho spark and shoot followed by the drive rush heavy. I have only connected it like 3 times out of hundreds of attempts and when I do connect it I the struggle to connect the last heavy psycho uppercut

@blazeuks5389 ahh gotcha, i ended in a medium uppercut, heavy will not connect. Its better to end with qcb hp actually…its HP, qcf pp (od net), qcf lp, f lp (light psycho spark and shot), ff mp+mk (drive rush), hp, lk+mk (kill rush), f-punch (uppercut out kill rush)….and then i suggest you end with qcb hp…because that can also combo into level 3 super…the medium dp i do in the video doesnt and the dmg is the same. Hope it helps! Just practise step by step. First hp, of net, psycho spark and fireball…drive rush into hp, kill rush with punch follow up, then qcb hp Good luck

@@iZonkGaming2021 I just realised you are saying ff mp+mk for drive rush. I have been holding the 2 buttons and then spamming forward to get the drive rush and it doesn't always trigger. So you can press ff mp + mk to activate it?

Yeah i record the audio in 1 go, thats why i always leave the inputs on and try to add annotations at the bottom of the screen so that people see what im doing 😎

@@iZonkGaming2021 good idea, why not record the audio as you're doing the sections, or do you take recordings of you testing out the character, and then just voiceover it later?

I do play on pc yea but…i dont have a special configuration on my controller. It should show my inputs on the left side of the screen. You should be able to translate that to a playstation controller or fight pad right? Its just directions and light medium and heavies Or am i misunderstanding the comment? Could be, sorry if i did. There is no way for me to show play station x’a o’s and squares unless i re write the whole video, thats hourssss of work 😅 a video like this already takes 8-10 hours to make as it is haha

How to do what man? PC makes no difference here, it's exactly why everyone uses universal notation. To do the light version of something hit the light punch or kick that corresponds. There's no such thing as medium kill rush. Any 2 kicks starts it, any forward punch ends it. Difference is if you punch in the first or second half.

​@@StabrinalityChill out man, are you referring to the forward punch right after the kill rush? You can do either a forward light, medium, or heavy punch that each result in a different reaction from your opponent either he's left standing, knockdown, knockdown juggle state. This what you are talking about about?

I record and edit the footage first and then I narrate it and mix it down. I never download YT videos so I dont know if anything changes, its meant to be streamed of course..but if anything changes, it could be because im not demonstrating the visuals at the same recording session as the audio part. The background music is also added later, I record without music. Fyi, thx for watching!
