hot and humid + modded = slower and unreliable You can't just cherry pick the best times or theoretical paper times and apply it to real-life track and car conditions. modded ICE has too many variables and limitations.

My 780whp ZL1 ran 9.9 at 143mph. Turbo S should trap more with that power.

@@larryc1616 that is true, I wonder if he has intercoolers or any other mods to help with the heat. That’s one of the biggest factors for these 911’s. I can pull up slips of a downpipe/tune (stock turbos) 992 TS in bad conditions running a quicker ET and a considerably higher trap speed. The stock SF90 doesn’t have to worry about the same issues like heat soak and bad conditions so I’m not too surprised of the outcome. Would like to see another go in better conditions and also a dyno run of the SF90.

On my 991.2 turbo S i need to put it in sport+ to activate the launch control. and that mode also deploys the aero.

This thing is also on massive 22" wheels and the DA is probably insane with the humidity. That being said, 3mph faster than stock even with both factors is pretty bad.

I have seen a stage 2 992 running 9.5-ish sec. So maybe the weather was really that bad but in perfect conditions this level hp 992 should do low 9s. Or maybe this tune is not well set up in reality

think sf90 can do 9.6 on normal roads too but bad conditions here and the porsche tune might not be that great

It takes way more than 200 whp to go from low tens to low nines. That might get you from low 13's to low 12's. Power vs. acceleration is exponential, not linear.

The Porsche did 9.84s in the second run but probably can do better in ideal conditions. Ferrari SF90 is a 1000 hp hybrid with all wheel drive.

AutoTopNl drove a 900 hp turbo s. This beast made 1/4 in 9.5 sec. This race here is just trash and wrong.

I don't know what day exactly this was run, but using DragTimes own calculator and assuming 90F/90% humidity this 850 whp car would correct down to about a 9.50@143-144. For the car last year with 690 whp, assuming 65 F and 50% humidity (late March/early April) it would correct to a 9.6@@142-143. A 20% increase in power should net at least 8-9 mph better trap speed. An 850 whp 911 should be around 150+ corrected. This car was nowhere near that. Simple math. And if the car doesn't run the number, then it isn't putting down the power, regardless of dyno charts
