personally, you've improved quite a lot, nice work there were lots of moments that worked nicely together, like the use of more cinematic music and better lighting, how engie dramatically gets healed by a sandwich, and their conversation at the start that feels more natural. there are still things that rubs me the wrong way though, like how some shots seem to end too quickly and a few editing things that could be altered slightly, their facial expressions and their lip sync could also use some more work, as they don't quite catch the feel of their voice sometimes, I especially noticed this at 2:04 when the civilian sounds more worried than angered. this could also be said with their poses sometimes, like with the mercenary being relieved of something at 1:44, instead of him just looking at the others, he could raise is arms just a bit so it looks like he's stretching is back a bit. while this is more because I love flashy openings that helps setting up the feel of a movie/video, the start of the video seems too boring, with the title literally being in the same font as the "made by" text, maybe if you had help from someone who could make a big action hero-ish title, the video would've started out a lot stronger, but if you were going for a more chill and less exaggerated feel, the font seems out of place and strange. also with the title, maybe it could've been more superhero stereotypical-ish (which I'd assume you were going for), it could've been "Engieman: the origin" or something that might've lead the viewers to believe "o shit this is like a different video and all that" these are just tiny things you could work with, the video is good overall and I'm glad you're improving.

This was actually more interesting and engaging than most marvel movies. Also, I really love how you improved with your lighting!

after playing bootcamp with a griefer and someone who's new to mvm this is how it feels. seriously that entire mission felt like a 2 page opera. with so much hills and valleys that my body is experiencing pure adrenaline on engie but tbh i felt like i need to improve both on my dispenser placement and not choosing 2 way all the time

Now this... THIS is good action. You did a great job Hoovy! it may not be crash maul levels of choreographing, but is infinitely better than the usual rubbery stuff you do (no offense). The hits have weight, the movement is pretty well done, the speed of the action kinda goes back and forth on the speed going from relatively quick to, "oh! gotta slow it down a sec so engie can avoid getting hit and look cool for not getting hit" but honestly it is an EXCELLENT IMPROVEMENT from the uber rubbery stuff you usually do (as I already said). Great work Hoovy, great work :3 Now, I have only one small suggestion. Not a criticism, just a suggestion you can try or ignore if you wish. Next time you're doing an action scene with close combat, let the hero of the story get hit every now and then. If the opponent is incompetent or pathetic by comparison, dodges are usually the norm and that's all fine and dandy; but if he's matched against an opponent who should (or is built up to) be just as strong, let the hero get his ass kicked a bit during the fight. A hero's success or failure is only as meaningful as the opposition and struggles he faces. (I'll go on a tangent after this next sentence) I'll admit I'm a bit of a fanboy, but check out crash maul's fight for sawmill video for an excellent example of such a scenario. Tangent time for extra emphasis and explanation of my perspective If a character built up to be a hero, but their opposition is easily thwarted, while for superheroes like batman or superman who have a clear advantage, it's okay, but there is nothing to make us root for them to win or be right there with them when they win. the struggle was trivial if not nonexistent and by extension his victory is just as trivial. If the opposition is easily thwarted by their own mistakes, but they do present a problem and people suffer because of it, we like seeing the hero win, but we aren't right there on the edge of our seat to watch him win. It's more of a fair is fair scenario as opposed to an oh-my-god-GET-HIM! scenario, but his victory DID matter even if only bit. If their opposition is weak, but strong due to manipulation and other various reasons, people suffer for their actions and though in the open they remain completely untouchable by the hero, like lex luthor's relationship with superman generally for example, we want the bad guy to get his comeuppance and are right there with the hero itching to see him enact justice only to be infuriated by the bad guy's seemingly perfect immunity to the consequences and when they do finally get their just rewards we are all riled up to see them finally pay at the hands of the hero who won WITHOUT compromising their morals and beliefs. Our hero struggled against himself and his enemy and his victory means so much for both himself and the people he is trying to protect. If the opposition is just as strong as the hero however, or even stronger, we are right there with him on his journey watching as he tries his hardest to win only to be beaten back or even outright FAIL to save the people he is trying to protect. Superman vs that bone thing I keep forgetting the name of for example (in the original comic, not the awful movie), a stronger opponent who constantly beats him back, and yet superman never gives up and in the end makes the ultimate sacrifice to defeat him! This kind of a victory means so much for so many reasons, he never gave up and showed uncompromising resolve in the face of defeat, he failed so many in his attempts to keep people safe, and in the end, not only did he overcome impossible odds, but he gave his life to accomplish it, saving so many people, but costing them their hero. This kind of a scenario is one where we are there for the whole trip always uncertain of whether or not the hero will win, if he actually even CAN win, and after trying so hard, he's now gone. It impacts the world the hero is in, AND the viewer/reader. His struggle MEANT something, and it meant something BIG. Okay Hoovy, my tangent is done, if you read the whole comment, thanks, and I'm sorry for the big splurg. xD
