Yeah! I felt like doing some animations for Nikson's awesome fangame!
I've played the Free Roam Beta and i loved it so much!
I even loved it more when i heard that Lucifersam01 made the animation for the game, as he linked me a preview animation for TJOC Freddy.
And so, i just had to redo it in SFM and do the others while i'm at it, using the official TJOC models.
I only had reference for Freddy, so Bonnie, Chica and Foxy are purely made up myself, using Freddy's animations as foundation.
I tried to make each character have unique animations and movements, to represent themselves apart from the obvious difference in appearance.
Freddy:
Well, i had reference, so it was just redoing it in SFM as best as i could.
Bonnie:
To me, it seemed that Bonnie's legs and feet are sturdy and work properly, but his torse doesn't. His remaining arm is almost loose and his control over said arm is limited.
This applies to his torso, as is seen in the walk cycle. It kinda flays around with a delay, the pelvis area leading the movement.
Chica:
I barely had reference for her appearance and additional features, so i kinda did it myself. Her arms are stuck in a T-Pose like in FNAF2, as a nod to that game and also
because it felt more imposing to the player if he/she gets chased by this giant chicken. I also felt like only 1 fitted too, dunno why really.
Foxy:
To me, i felt like Foxy was the most intact out of all of these characters. Hence i made his animations more controlled and smoothened out then the rest. But not everything is
as it seems. An internal malfunction within Foxy's right leg makes it heavier then normal, slowing down his actual speed for a neat walk cycle.
After fully-fletching their animations, i added lights and props for more immersion. Freddy resides within the living room area, Bonnie around the attic, Chica in the library area
and Foxy in the basement.
Then, i downloaded the audio from Nikson's teaser and acquired the footstep sounds. After that, i grabbed Bandicam and opened TJOC:FR Beta and recorded the main menu theme.
