*When I played TF2 for the first time, right around A year ago. I was on discord with my friends who were telling me tips and stuff and told me about friendlies. “Nah I’ll kill them they’ll just die anyway.” Then I discovered the kazotsky kick. See I grew up playing Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Basically TF2 but it’s PVZ, it’s actually A great game and I’d say it’s on par with TF2 in terms of quality! See GW2 doesn’t really have friendlies, and if you tried to be friendly it would end up really boring. See that game doesn’t have stuff like interact-able taunts, unlike TF2, the game makes it VERY clear that you have to kill the other team. There is even A game mode where the goal is for A team to get 50 Kills before the other team does. And every game mode has Crazy Dave/Dr Zomboss (the leaders for each team and basically Administrator for each team) insulting each other while telling you what to do. And to top that off, the game doesn’t have A main menu. Instead there is A huge hub world. And depending on what team you’re on (Plants or Zombies), you’ll be in A safe zone (unless you have friends on the server lol) where you can do the core essentials like selecting A game mode of doing Ops (GW2 Version of MVM), but if you dare try to enter the other team’s base, alarms will siren and bosses, usually only encountered in Ops mode will start spawning. And soon enough, your team will start summoning bosses too. An entire war breaks out where the Plant And Zombie bosses and the other playable characters (controlled by AI) start fighting. There’s no friendship, Good Plants stop evil Zombies, Vice Versa. No time for giving brains to the plants or high fives, just war. So stepping into TF2, it was weird seeing so many players actively not killing the other team. I got used to it pretty quickly, but man going from A game where the entire concept is beating the other team, to A game where it’s common to see players messing around, was A pretty big tonal change.*

Everytime i killed a friendly I felt it... I felt the dissapointment in its hear, seeing my force of habbit taking control over the common sense, sliding the wired mouse a little to the left and clicking M1 without thinking twice, making a rocket ,that somehow was affected with random crit, hit this innocent creature as its blood and head fall to my feet with nothing but those haunting tweets of pain cutting through my ears. The familiar drums then fill my headphones as I see the faces of judgement filled with sadness and dissapointment looking at me clicking Z+8 ans then F1 as my soul falls down to the neverending void of matchmaking.

In some cases, Friendly can be trap, in case of stealthy stickes hidden somewhere such as behind hoovy/pootis bird, under table, inside spybox, inside/under the chair etc. are seen as imposters. In some cases, Spy, Pyro, or Sniper who have same team as friendlies may set up trap for his partner from other team to assassinate. Frenemies who ruining host's partners can faced consequences included: become Pootis bird, All weapon are stripped and become Civilian or A-pose. In some cases Conga Line massacre with Machina is worst than Rocket Launcher, Flame Thrower. without disable Machina penetrate fanfare can be faced massive earraping entire server. The consequence can be forced A-posing, or being kicked, or banned.
