You can tell he knows he needs to be better and he’s hard on himself… shai is him. First playoffs in years, first ever as a lead guy with a crazy young team. Come playoff time, all wins are not equal and he knows that.

@@dariusgarlandbf pels have crazy length. Great wing defenders and outside of shai, OKC has no 4th quarter offence. Shai being the primary ball handler and scorer in the 4th with a team like this is crazy. Everyone is so young and he still delivered when it mattered. It took time to catch rhythm but the playoffs are so different man, and the pelicans have so many guys to switch on you and guard you. I do think with a health Zion the Pels have the better chance to win this series but OKC is doing what they need to. Where were they last year, how many picks do they have, how many assets, a good Loss is exactly what they need to assess the holes and plug them. Sam presti knows they aren’t winning a chip, it’s about figuring out how they lose and building the gaps.

Okc didn’t play for a week, compared to the packed season young players getting there groove back, when the pelican were still playing there 3rd game since seasons end. Yes no Zion but when’s the last time the week had a week off? NBA all star break so of course they need to get there rhythm back, it’s better to judge them After game 2

I’m an OKC fan. I feel like if we play the Clippers next round, Zubac is gonna tear us up with offensive rebounds. If we can put up a fight and push 7 games win or lose we should get some respect.
