FF3 Pixel Remaster is weird in that it tried, oh it tried, to do job rebalancing, but at the end of the day, you're still using the same jobs you would at any given point of time as you would in the Famicom version, and yes that includes your endgame team being two Ninjas/two Sages. The 3D version is closer to being described as "another FF5" because with enough know how (and luck), you can bend around a bit to have some job variety (Garuda comes to mind although that is the single most luck based fight in the game no matter what), and that's my preferred version of 3, although I am grateful that there is some official way to play the original 3 in some way.

After finally beating FF4 DS/3D Steam version for the first time in the past few months/a year, it's actually not that much harder than the other versions but what'll mess you up is that last dungeon especially if you don't know how to counter the Dark Sages, the Moonmaidens and the Dragons looming about. You really need to know how to deal with the encounters in that final dungeon and some of the bosses will trip up a veteran like Dr. Lurgae in Tower of Babil or the CPU boss in the Giant. Overall really fun and would highly recommend it but remember you're in for a fight.

You damn well Final Fantasy VII Remake part 3 will extend the underwater reactor journey to a 5 hour slog and the Submarine stuff will be a even worse pain in the neck mini game than the one in the original.

The problem with the Pixel Remasters is that they're just so low quality, especially compared to the previous versions. The spritework is super mass produced and low quality, and the musical arrangements are pretty bland. I always hate it when a company puts out a lazy, terrible version of a game on modern platforms and makes it the version every new fan is going to experience for the first time. They should have developed one or two high quality remakes at a time rather than rushing out six garbage ones.
