One of my students took SGI Class 5 Road Test at Saskatoon Downtown, and she passed on the first attempt. She did a great job because she knew the downtown road test route well and practiced the parallel parking a lot. She got Class 5 Novice 1 license.
Normally, students are made mistakes during the road test because they are in stress and feel nervous. Some of the common mistakes in road tests are:
• Failing to do mirror and head checks
• Not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign or red light
• Failing to maintain the legal speed limit
• Failing to proceed on a green light; failing to give way
• Entering an intersection on a yellow light
• Turning right without yielding to pedestrians
