may well have been world champ but i thought the same about leigh Adams was guaranteed to be has well. Leigh adams,phil crump,dave jessup all talked about being guaranteed champs but came up short.

@@huntinggreys2484 darcy was better than then as a teenager - no disrespect to any you mentioned they are all legends of aussie speedway -but darcy had something the others didn't , even at an early age - darcy would have been a multiple world champ for sure -close to jason crump i have no doubt
