"Why would a Taiwanese language TV Channel be necessary?" Well, this show just proved it. Even though it was featured by smart and articulated people who spoke the language well, it was pretty obvious that even they were struggling to express perfectly their thoughts. It's clear that the command of the Taiwanese language for 99,9% of the people is pretty low: barely useful for daily mundane activies but seriously lacking for technical or complex, serious discussions. The saddest thing to me is that Taiwanese is my mother tongue, but I couldn't even comment a KZfaq video in Taiwanese. Hopefully a exclusively tâi gú TV channel can help me develop it the way it deserves.
Please keep it and I’ like to watch a lot, actually I'm mixed of Taiwanese and Japanese, my mom just taught me Taiwanese so I can't speak Chinese, then when I go to Taiwan, everyone just speak Chinese and young people cannot speak Taiwanese. It is so sad which is I don't have a language to talk with them. Like when I met religions who were kids, we don't have language to speak. We just say, "Hi" or "ni-hao". DONE!!!! My Taiwanese is not so good like guys, but still I can understand 50-60% of this TV. Wish I could speak Chinese as well, but if my mom taught Chinese, then I cannot speak with my sweet grandma. We need this connection. Do not lost it. Even I didn't live in Taiwan, I wanna keep it to talk. I'm so sorry just type English, cuz I just can talk, I cannot read and write( I can guess to read, cuz Japanese also has some same latter.). Anyway, keep it!!! I will share this mom later :) 頑張って!!加油〜〜〜
