Don't worry, there are many Mandarin speaking countries that love Jay Chou, e.g. Taiwan, Singapore, etc. You don't need to be Chinese to like this type of music. Jay Chou for instance is not Chinese but Taiwanese, just like Jason Chen's ancestors. Mandarin music from Taiwan is super awesome!

For all the people saying that Jay Chou is better, I'd want to remind that Jay Chou is a famous singer/movie star and has been singing for quite a LONG time, and that Jason is a VERY GOOD singer (actually amazing)! They are both a different "levels" and you can't really compare them! Both are good in their own way! :)
