Something I noticed is that at 0:53 he tries to tear the other person's wings off and at 1:43 he succeeds in tearing them off, the other person now wingless lays on the floor and the mc seems happy yet upset about it. This form is an angel/ fairy but in yellow it was a goat which is a representation of evil or the devil . Both the angel and goat are drawn as androgynous . Showing his want for love no matter who (You can see the goat on the top right of wall at 0:06)

It's amazing how much Yoh Kamiyama grows as an artist but is able to retain his essence. This song feels like hearing Yellow for the first time and it's amazing to hear something new that makes you remember the moment where it all started.

A lot of people here are saying this song is related to 「Yellow」, so I've done a comparison between the two. Both of them have heavy low notes during the majority of the verses. In the beginning, they both switch to a slightly higher phrase, with 4 notes to transition onto the chorus (in 「Yellow」, the 4 notes go up, while in 「Closet」 they go down). Both chorus have similar note relationships: the notes go down the scale, jump to a higher note to continue the downward trend, then go up a few notes to end the phrase; then the melody repeats itself with different lyrics (playing the chorus of both songs together is actually really cool). For both songs, the beat is clearly in the background of most of the song, and the tempo is relatively fast. 「Closet」, on one hand, gives a more rhythmic vibe, while 「Yellow」 is a bit more melodic. I can't say for sure the person in both music videos is the same, but there are still similarities. The scribbled out drawings appear between verses in both songs, and both have the dull blue-gray background and uses yellow/red for highlights. The scribbles in the start have a few elements from 「Yellow」in them too. High heels, demon hands/horns, and the clock are in the middle right edge In both videos, and the hanging circles are near the middle. Both videos shows the character resisting against the demon/angel, but the effort is futile, as either character can't break free from their mental restraints. 「Closet」 also references a few of Kamiyama Yoh's past songs. The scene in 0:34-0:39 looks like the flowers in 「quiet room」and the flower the angel is holding in 2:20 looks like a lily. That and the lyrics, "あなたみたいになりたかった" (~I want to be like you) and "届かないその言葉に, 首を絞めつけられてるの" (~Those words don't reach, strangling me) seems to hint at「lili.」. "扉の外で声がして" (~I heard a voice outside the door) reminds me of the one scene in the second verse of 「カトラリー」(cutlery). Overall, 「Closet」is another masterpiece from Kamiyama-san.
