The staff is my favourite weapon. The art in the way it performs, the simplicity of being a single piece of a tree, and the defensive, merciful, non-lethal nature of it. Incredible.

Unlike most people, he controls the staf. Knows what he is doing and why. Love this about the way of Shaolin.There is no air, only the one we breath. I like to honour that. Beautiful.

Well done! I started Shaolin staff in the mid 80s (along with Okinawa Shorin bo), and am still learning. Training partners can be hard to find (lots of bruises and bumps while learning. It is both practical martial skill, and moving Zen meditation.

That was beautiful. I have learned a Yang style that was recompiled because the original forms were lost. This has inspired me to work on it more.

For the sake of Buddha..... you have only shown to the rest of us the non lethal technique.... bless you and that you have stayed in the non aggression nature of Buddha discipline. In reality, the flexibility of the staff can make a lot more damage.

Thanks to the uploader and the teacher. I know in japanese it is used the name of kata. Example a Bo kata but it is not bo kata cause is from China. What is the name in mandarin of bo kata? Also there is no explanation of how to perform attacks and defensive movements. Finally I know martial arts like White Crane, Mantis, monkey kung fu just to mention 3. What is the name of this martial arts style? And who is the person that have the right to teach because his studies and training? This man obviously is s teacher not fake. Too many fake teachers wanna be and fraud. Beautiful kata and not demanding because many kung fu katas are very hard making too difficult to perform.
@davidcuan51044 жыл бұрын
i think the word you are looking for is 套(tao)路(lu),which means a sequence of actions combine together. similar to Kata in Karate, You won't fight with it, but practice it is helpful to get familiar with the actions transition etc. Hopefully this answer your question.
