I don't care if they go out drinking, just as long as their not stereotypical and rude and uneducated about it. You know? HunOrwell Well, St. Patrick's Day did already originate as a feast day to commemorate him. And yeah, it's been warped into a drinking holiday. But you do still hear people complain about it. I guess the difference is that Americans (mostly) took a day from Mexican history without any context and turned into a holiday. St. Patrick's day kind of started at a holiday already.
