James Lanz I don’t spend too much time measuring. I hate losing time overhauling. I get a simple bearing, measurement, and then get close and measure everything by eye. It works for me!

I have a question for the vanilla game. The bearing dial on the TDC what do u do with it? It makes me miss 8/10 torpedoes? Do I leave it or do I set it to something?

The bearing dial moves where you point your periscope if you turn off that button that makes you adjust the periscope tdc dials

Good one as always, do you take your measuring from the nose of the ship? It looked like that for me. If so, why you do so - is there any rule for it? Thanks.

yes it is... hes using the marks on the periscope hair as the uboat captains did.. its complex cuz you need to know things like your specific periscopes magnification and such@@5950ziel

Thinzun Thane yes. I use this on SH5 on grey wolves, whatever you wish.

Good tutorial if one knows what to do ;) Why don´t you explain what you do at every moment? For me as a beginner that looks like random clicking.

Rücklicht can you explain what exactly what you do not understand? I explain quite a lot. How much experience do you have with Silent Hunter?

@@SH3Bstanko6 After years I´m trying to understand manual calculations for the first time. I´m using the GWX mod but my GUI looks and works totally differently from what you have. For example that button in the middle of the Ziellösungs Rechner can only be found on the desk of the Waffenoffizier, but not in the scope.

Rücklicht oh ok. Yes. I am using NYGM mega mod. The GUI in this video is MAGUI F. I can assure this, regardless the GUI or mega mod, the procedures are the same. You have to go the extra mile to understanding the GUI of your choice. Then we can go over other parts. I suggest my video on TDC. It introduces key buttons that are the same on all GUI’s!

@@SH3Bstanko6 Thanks. I´m just watching you tuts again and again and try my own testing. Where can I find this mod. The only ones I get over Google are GWX and LSH 2015.
