IDK man, I still peek in from time to time to see how Hip Hop is doing. I grow more and more disappointed every time. How many more people gotta die, or serve LWOPOP before they finally wake up and realize that at the end of the day it's really not worth it. All the people both innocent and other wise who died and were murdered. Years of lives given away to the state. Young men who said They wouldn't be caught dead working for a minimum wage job, but end up in prison working literally for pennies. Not only are they doing time, but so is their families. Not being there for decades, kids have all grown up without them, had families, graduations, weddings, couldn't even be there for their mother's funeral. They rap and boasts huge piles of money, then when they get caught, and believe me they all do, because they want to make a living out of playing in casinos. Without realizing that the house always wins, it's all set up to get you, and the deck is stacked against you. They got big money now, but they're fattening them up for the kill. The hammer comes down, boom. Everything you earned, the money, cars, jewelry, and houses. Under government seizure, as well as their lives. They're taken away to be wards of the state, and a ward means property. Once you've become property, you are a slave. Years, decades, and even their whole entire lives taken that they'll never ever get back. People that they call them selves loving, forgetting about them in time. Time doesn't stand still for the rest of the world when you're taken from it. Metaphorically and literally. The world marches on, and you're in there just hoping and praying that someone still remembers you. In the end It's not worth it, I just wish that they would finally open their eyes and see it for what it truly is. There's a reason why it's called "the trap", and it ain't the reason that they'd all like to believe.
