Shabba you have to say was the ultimate true 'king of the dancehall' he made some proper good tunes back in the day. No other artist could Challenge him respectfully, He was on the truest highest level he had accomplished...Proper proper legend the Shabba Ranks!!

@@jimmylightshow In Mid 90 he made a homophobic comment on a TV show called 'The Word' and that was the fall of Shabba, years later he attempted to make a come back but he really couldn't recover from it sadly.

bought this when it just dropped. it was hot like liquid wax. went club-hopping in the 90s at the kenyan coast. heard it play in salambos around 3am. there was a US Navy ship had recently just docked. first time to see the marines.

Shabba is a big artist in dancehall but not the KING. Shabba is a classic old time artist that at this point in his career should be doing world tours. There is not one artist that can say Shabba brought him on the scene. After their run in the lime light, that's it. Artist like Beenie man, Shabba Ranks, Super Cat and Buju should be going across the world.
