Hi - welcome to this weeks mass making workshop. This week, we are making these junk mail fold back pockets. These can be altered to include any style of papers and decorating, just experiment! Hope you manage to craft along, and get some serious mass making done with me during these workshops which I am hoping to upload every Tuesday. I’m not sure if I get ALL your notifications… but I do get 2 or 3 a week. I love everything u show us because you make it so ease to do and explain it all so well. Oh How Beautiful! Liliacs growing up We had allot in our yard and I would bring My Mother Bouquets! I Love them She Loved themand I Miss Her so much especially after being a Widow recently. I want my Mom! Thank You for bringing Her Memory to the forefront....Lisa.

Hi love I love these pockets . My daughter said they look like shirt fronts . When you talked about the walking in the rain it reminded me of if last month in the start of the last flood . Me and daughter got off the bus up our hill and got soaked just getting off . Well we walked down our hill and got nearly to the house when we turned around to see a wall of water coming towards us . I just looked at my daughter and fell back with the force of water pushing me my daughter grabbed me but I just started to laugh and my husband was on the porch watching the whole thing . My son came running out picked me up like I was a doll and run to the porch but I'm still laughing so hard. Then all I could think of was my craft room getting flooded . I ran through the house leaving foot prints on my tile floor. Down my steps to see my cats running from me . I looked in the mirror in my backroom I looked like a mud creature . Well that made me laugh even worse . It rained for 2 weeks house didn't flood but our yard was under water . We rescue cats and kittens so we had a full house . My daughter had to get so many babies 3 days old the youngest 3 . Sorry for the long story but I thought you would like it . I'm the English lady lived in Australia 53 yrs now I'm 64 . God bless Karen and family in Australia 😺👍🥰💖🐨🇭🇲

Laura Linney is Justin Bateman's wife in Ozark. Congo is my favorite movie that she started in. People have Ozark watching parties in the U.S. and there was even a magazine to buy in 2022. I binged Ozark when it first came out. I'm enjoying your channel. Thanks.

What great idea, these pockets are. As soon as I saw you cutting and folding the flaps I though of a lady's dress with the flaps being the collar, especially with the flowery paper.

The folds remind me of collars on a dress or shirt. Add pearls or bow for a woman's journal or a tie for a mans .

Those turned out quite pretty! At first I thought...just use an envelope. But now I get it. Thank you for tv series ideas. We passed right by Ozarks - my family comes from there and you get tired of the hillbilly still moonshine storylines. But maybe we should give it a try? My sister used to be too sensitive for harder themes - but I talked her into Game of Thrones. I said "Yes, blood and gore and most everyone you care about will die horribly but it is very well produced. Best tv show ever as far as I'm concerned. " So finally, she watched it with me. Loved it. So we moved on to Outlander. Loved it. Now we are watching Vikings (blood and gore, yatta). We're doing ok for the moment. But nice to have a new show lined up. [Also loved Orphan Black, Homeland, The Expanse, Travellers] Oooh, I remember when the kids get into their teens and reject the family. Rite of passage. But painful for the family just as well. I really love hearing about your family. Some YT channels have good content but I just cannot listen to the people for a long time. But you I can put on in the background and listen for hours, lol. The story is quite gritty, and definitely NOT family viewing, but it was quite gripping. I watched the last one last night, I will miss watching it. Oh my son, yes I can remember rejecting my family in my teens and definitely not wanting to be seen with them......I guess you just hope that your own kids are going to skip that. Lol x

I changed the color of my brads by heating them & dipping them in Embossing powder. That works really well.

I was thinking if you turned the the side of the envelope with the clear window upside down when you used it you could use it too right? Then you would have double as many. I understand your daughters frustrations, as much as I used to love to play in the water when it rained or at the beach or even the pool I now know I'm allergic to water and try my darndest to avoid getting wet. I can drink water that's not a problem and I can shower I just have to dry off quickly after I'm done. WHAT a saint your son is! I hope he remembered to take pictures and he will get a good recommendation from your sister that he can keep an portfolio. Someday it may really help him. My son-in-law is an electrician and a carpenter and he kept a portfolio of all his carpenter work and wonderful recommendation letters from everyone now he owns his own business and does very well period and he is in his early forties. I love to watch only a select few tubers.... I'm so extremely far behind and can't watch the original person who inspired the item. Besides your way of covering stuff and not measurements suits my style much BETTER. I learn more from watching you. I love your videos and that you bring me these genius ideas and suggestions on how I can create why I only feel befuddled by when I watch other artist. Please continue to bring ideas that you saw elsewhere. I love the ideas and series on organizations, please keep it up. 😃🐞😉🐝😘🦋🥰🌻🤗

Great idea for using the window part of the envelope btw. I will tell my son about your son-in-law, that is great to know. Good idea about the photos of his jobs, I will mention that also. Funnily enough, he has picked up some weekend work with a carpenter to learn a bit about that trade, he did his first day yesterday. X

It's so funny, since starting journal making I now carefully cut all junk mail envelopes thinly at the end so I can use them. 🤣😂 And keep all the return bill envelopes since I pay with a card for everything anyway.

I really like these envelope pockets. They make me think of dress shirts with button down collars lol. I was going to suggest tiny rickrack on the turned down peices, but do like the crocheted lace with the labels as well.

Love your chats and catching up with you. I can relate when you talk about your children vetoing any pda and outings with their parents. Been there done that. My offspring are grown now with adult children of their own now. Love your take on Dee Dee's project....I've been following her with it and I tend to think that I'm a bit like you as I'm not that great with my precision with measurements either. Thank you for showing such an easy breezy alternative. I look forward to visiting with you next time. Blessings.
