Hi - welcome to this weeks mass making workshop. This week, join me to make these easy self tucking envelopes for your junk journals. They can be used and adapted to many different styles of ephemera, just have fun with them! Hope you manage to craft along, and get some serious mass making done with me during these workshops which I am hoping to upload every Tuesday. Absolutely love these! So fast and easy to make and so useful in a journal! My four-year-old grandson loves the secret hiding places in his Little Golden Book Journal, so he will love having some of these to open and write inside! TFS the inspiration, Tina!

Having the backside blank allows for it to be used for journaling. Either way, these are super fun to make and a fund piece to add to journals. Thank you!

Morning Tina, loved the envelopes, they are so cute. I managed to make 5 along with you, 3 smallish ones and 2 larger. They are going to come in so handy in my journal i am busy doing. Thank you for your inspiration. I do hope Father Christmas get your lists OK as over here our Post Office is not very reliable. I am sure your daughter will enjoy having her own telly, it makes them feel so grown up, they now don"t need to watch what mom and dad want to watch. I know we had that experience with our son, he was over the moon with his own TV. Am loving watching the challenge on the facebook page, although not taking part, to far away, and am amazed at the wonderful pieces that the challenge has produced. Can't see what you came up with. Love seeing everyones attempts, all are so fabulous. I am sending you warming blessings and hugs to warm you all up. Diana

They’re cute aren’t they? Yes I hope Santa manages to get any orders delivered in time....... I just went to the post office yesterday, the queue was huge. Oh she is loving having a tv of her own 🙃. I didn't make as many as you but this was super easy. It worked better with thinner paper. If you make them smaller they could be paperclips... hmmm... so many possibilities. I missed today's journal by minutes because I was making breakfast for my youngest son. He is now working nights and coming home really early in the morning after my husband leaves for work. Much love to you and your mom and dad and 2 sisters and your family ❤❤❤

I made some and added a tiny copper paper clip to the top to close it and to clip it to pages. They’re very cute. Thank you again! 😊

I LOVE THESE! I have already made 2 while watching you!!!! My 8x* papers work better then the 6x6 . I would be overly stressed if I did not have my shopping done. I stress until I get my cards out early Dec. But, my husband and I both have birthdays the week of Christmas so we have a pause to celebrate those days.

Very cute! Check out Pam at the Paper Outpost and how she tucks the flap into a cute folded closure. It’s the same as your instructions but goes one more step beyond your instructions. 😁

You can also glue the flap down, turn the envelope upside down so the opening is at the top, and use it as a pocket.

Today is the 15th January, I like in America. It's nice to go back in time, and be in another Country. Video is a magical thing. I love these little envelopes. I LOVE these! How big is the very back center? That would be perfect for a picture or memorabilia. I think that they would also look great made with mulberry paper. Not exactly sure what it would do or look like, but maybe in a embellishment of the closing flap on both sides of course just enough to cover it on the edge of the flap glued down and fluffed out ! My mind is going now LOL maybe a button for a foe closure, or a tiny circle with string. Thank you for your inspiration Tina !! I need help putting my tree up, because of the damage to my Vertebra I see the Specialist on Wednesday about it. I can't lift a dang thing with out dropping it or "Feeling The Pain" immediately. I have my presents but only for my mom, dad, and niece's. I think that buying for Boys/Men is why so many of them get socks underwear, Tshirts and cologne. 🤔

Do you sides ever match up so that when you pull the flap down the sides are even.. If that makes sense.

Ok...after you have it complete...of you go around and measure all the four sides are they the same measurements...a perfect square? Mine are not at all!

No, no really a perfect square, so long as they look ok by eye, don’t worry about measuring them up to achieve a perfect square 🙃 x
