@@barbarasaunders2160 I fully understand America’s immense joy and pride on discovering a unique home-grown talent - one good enough to take on the mighty Jamaicans on the track. She certainly has the raw speed and bravado to fight for bragging rights, given the records she was setting as she transitioned into the pro ranks. But, as you have noted, something, somehow is off. Far off. You can at least see the end result. All that bodily scarring with tattoos. And no serious professional dabbles in any drugs. The Jamaicans don’t, or we all would have heard. They need every dollar to count back home, they aim to win every race and get the winner’s purse - to time to dilly-dally or mess around with drugs hoping not to get caught. Can she recover? It is possible. Justin Gatlin sort of muddled through after 4 years ban. This young lady needs a new team and a lot of soul searching. Does she want to get up every day to train hard, lift weights in the gym, eat the right foods and go to bed early to preserve her strength? Usain Bolt said he decided to retire when all those questions turned to no for him. She is 21 years young as a baby taking her first steps into the athletic world. It can be brutal. We will see. Shelley-Ann Fraser Pryce is 34 and faster than her.
@barbarasaunders21602 жыл бұрын
@@surunitemiakanni-oye4346 undoubtedly she has a lot more issues than marijuana and tattoos. There's a passage that speaks to this situation, it says, "I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all."( Ecclesiastes 9:11) I'm hoping and praying this young woman has strong spiritual resources to get her through this.
