This is a great video! Thank you for being brave and posting. This shows people that it's not easy to handle a sword, even when you're good at it!

it's a good motto. everyone fails now and then, it's just that they don't post videos when they do. you are just being honest and having fun while also working hard. looks like a really good dojo.

@Adeptmind To cut the upper part is relatively easy. However, so as not to defeat the straw, cut it near the bottom is very difficult. It cut so as not to defeat it is difficult and narrow winding straw. I think it is very interesting take on a difficult challenge, however!

@kalevraa Thank you! I think when it posted a video of a lot of people successful is a good thing. However, I think that process is to post the more important thing. All successful people from the beginning is not, so we enjoy a failure!

Would a 3lb 5oz, T10 katana with a 30" blade and a 11" tsuka be worth $740? Or get more in tameshigiri instead?

Would you say displacement happens, right as your trying to cut a moving, falling mat?

At 9:03 he has a truly awesome cut... closely followed by a hurried 'flick'. These people are having way too much fun. I do wonder who pays for the mats! :D (And in some cases I wonder how long they soaked them.)

im curious to what they do with the Sliced mats after they are done with them? burn them?
@loserspearl10 жыл бұрын
They could be unwound into their base wicker fibers and remade into full mats again, do they? Doubtfully.
@badmangod10 жыл бұрын
I mean like is it possible that they use them to heat their place, use as kindling for starting fires, cooking foods, or possibly turning them to compost and using them to fertilize soil
