It's THAT good.

the inspiration page works extremely well with a lot of off-meta toplaners. most are weak against all-in but are stronger in other aspects. biscuits provide mana and sustain and cosmic reduces your spells which allows you to snowball more (most off-meta toplaners need both ghost/flash spells to be played properly)

@@daveyx3offmeta​idk, vs another melee it seems like a total waste to not go Taste of Blood (if you require a tiny bit of extra sustain in early lane) and treasure hunter (helps snowball harder considering ad components are usually cheaper than AP). Future’s market is by far more helpful to snowball. And cosmic insight is only worth it if you believe you’ll be using summoners on cooldown as often as possible. Honestly the rune next to cosmic insight (forgot its name, the move speed one) would probably help you save summoners in situations you’d use them aggressively considering that shaco’s E would probably help massively to rubberband back into them in case they are trying to run. Even stopwatch would help stomp harder if you’re confident enough that you know you’ll get fed and don’t wanna risk giving away a bounty thanks to GA and likelihood you’ll be able to reuse Q if needed after revive. Biscuit was popular when it could be Sold for 30g in cases it turns out you didn’t need them. It’s nerfed to 5gold. Cosmic insight would be insane (if you actually wanna force it) together with Ionian boots. But shaco’s higher attackspeed is wanted thus increasing the value of other rune next to cosmic because you’ll naturally land more autos vs dash champions. Considering you’re going Botrk first item it doesn’t seem like the sustain is actually needed. Shaco is slippery enough as he is to the point that one can afford to not go flash even as a support. Triumph + Manaflow (easily stacked on shaco) + transcendence or Absolute focus (maybe gathering to assure late game since you value efficiency) would probably help edge out fights harder too. On top of giving free gold per kill.
