Almost sorry to say that I like these posts better than the travel videos…… although I do enjoy those ! Perfectly happy with the OEM side cases myself, immediately throw the bags out as they take up too much space. Pack the luggage in plastic bags and place those in the side cases - I can easily pack everything for one week (but I stay overnight in hotel, no camping). And, as you say, with bigger cases you just bring more, and heavier stuff….. Keep making these videos, they are great !!

Hi, are you sure about the liters of those Panniers, I have a XL HJC modular helmet and it fits in the stock side Panniers, you can carry around 3 helmets with all the bags. Maybe the problems is not the panniers, but the Bags Kawasaki provides. Also I think you need a small modification to bring those bags more in the center, there is a lot of unused space behind between Panniers and wheel.

With the decals on, the cases need painting even less ! FYI, just measured my stock bars at 92 cms at grip ends, and 100 cms at the mirrors 👍

Jak zwykle sensowny materiał,ja osobiście skuszę się na model sh 36, kufry boczne zakładam kilka razy w roku, więc jak twierdzisz że gorzej wyglądają na Versysie, to tylko kilka razy w roku będę tylko to widział😁. Celem jest pojemność,a z żoną każdy litr na wagę złota 😜 Pozdrawiam serdecznie 😉

I have the same cases sh35 and they handle a shoei nxr small and a schuberth s2 large. The sh 36 can handle any full face helmet because they have other shape and they are also cheaper.

What do you think about SW-Motech aluminum cases? Why you didn't prefer them?

you know how it is, bigger cases, more junk, more weight, and besides, aluminum ones require a frame that isn't the prettiest.

Is it the Versys1000-specific Shad Bracket? If yes, it's a shame it doesn't fit the bike properly and requires cutting the metal. You should reach out the Shad guys and ask them to remake the bracket and send you a brand new one for free.

You`re right, I probably should, but I know in advance how it will end. Maybe someone from SHAD will watch this video and feel bad about it, we'll see. Of course, I could have chosen a different solution and cut the fairing, but one day I will want to sell this motorcycle and I will probably give it away with the original cases, so this is not the best idea. Take care.
