This was a solid film all the way around. The script was good, acting was good, effects were great compared to other films on a budget. This is precisely how a good, small budget film is done. Loved this!

For those who prefer a little insight into a movie, before watching it.. First off, it's the wrong monster in the advertisement. The one in the movie is some sort of cybernetic alien, that has 2 arms and 4 legs. It's not a 4 legged quadruped. The title of this movie is "Thirst" (2015) Brief Summary: When a group of wayward teens arrive at a desert boot camp, with no communication, and nowhere to run to, they realize their only chance for survival is to fight for their lives.

Great entertainment! I thought it might be cheesy but it was really good. I couldn't help but think if Stallone and Cruise had a baby, it would've been the character in that movie played by John Redlinger.

Yes it does. That's why we live in the sticks. Nearest town is 20 miles, nearest neighbor, about a half mile. But we have a lake separating us. We pump our own water and produce about half of our power. We can get by without buying electricity,,but no ac or heat. We got a Woodstock and 20 plus acres of firewood. We're gonna be okay.

When you're life is being threatened and you RELY on the Police...you PROBABLY will NOT make it out alive...(Not that the Police won't try--but they will be too late 99.9% of the time.)

Yeah, that's what most city slickers that want to ban guns don't understand. In a semi rural area - meaning interstate and city center within 20 minutes max - it takes 45 minutes for the cops to show up if you're lucky. In a very rural area it can take twice that. But I mean, even in a small city with little to no traffic impeding officers they're still going to take at least 20 minutes to get to you between the time it takes you to call 911, convince the dispatcher you need help, and the time the dispatcher radios units to respond. Lot of bad shit can happen in 20 minutes. People also don't understand that as per about 5 different supreme court rulings, the police have no legal or constitutional obligation to actually defend citizens. They're only obligated to pick up the criminal, if possible, after they've committed the crime. Refs: Castle Rock v Gonzales, Warren v D.C. , Nichol v D.C. ,
