I liked both their performances but Shadow definitely takes this one. His beat was on track and his roast hit perfectly. Vegeta main flaw was his solo being a little repetitive but other than that this was a strong introduction to the next season.

I realy like your animation and obviously your beatboxes are the best

i absolutely love the little things here and there throughout the animation that remind us that shadow is still indeed a child, from his "Who am I facing?" line, to the childish nature of his taunts towards bulma, to the very fact that he dresses up as Batman throughout his rap and then stumbles into the REAL batman and immediately gets embarrassed Despite everyone in and out of universe consistently treating him like a highly-capable adult who can and should be able to handle everything, it's kind of important to remember that shadow is only 15 years old physically and mentally, and even though he is ultimately immortal, he's not yet an adult and still has to grow to that stage. his stoicism and general "edgy" front stems from the intense pressure to succeed put on him by everyone in his life and its one of the reasons why he tends to act more "mature" than he actually is, and seeing the brief moments here where that mask slips and the true shadow comes out for a bit is both cute as hell and super refreshing Perhaps that's why he lost to Vegeta. He's only a teenager! It's far too early to face off against a legendary prince in his prime! The road is long, young Shadow, but we all have faith that you'll become the ultimate beatboxer someday!
