Honestly the nina and matthias still is EXACTLY how I pictured them after the shipwreck. Her being all worried and him being a grumpy old man haha and tbh they are my favourite out of the six of them

These photos made it real for me. I can't believe it's finally coming out. Also I'm surprised there has been negative chatter about the costume design. I think they look well made and clearly had a budget so I think that's promising.

i feel the exact same way about matthias appearance! the fact he doesn't even have long hair triggers me lol but i think they had to go for this look because it looks more "military" (?)

If i remember correctly he had a long hair because he went to hellgate. Since the season 1 storyline is pre-SOC it's understandable that he looks like a druskelle. I guess he will have the SOC look if the show gets renewed for season 2

I am a Mal stan, so I am so freaking excited to see what they do with his character in here. And I am in love already with the guy who they cast, definitely looks like how I pictured him in my head. I am also very excited for the actor they casted as Jesper, he also looks like who I pictured as well for the character. Of course Ben Barnes as the darkling, yummy and wow. And I am not a Darkling stan even though I love him as a bad guy. Just not as a love interest. Kaz I am excited about but Don't have really anything else to say about right now. Inez and Alina look bad-ass. I like the look of Nina but Matthias, I really don't have an opinion on. I was just never much of a fan of his, until towards the end of Crooked Kingdom. I hope you will do a reaction video of the show. Can't wait to see how the 8 episodes turn on.

I fangirled so much when I saw these stills. I'm so excited for the show and I have a feeling the cast is going to do a wonderful job portraying each character. Yes please I'd love for you to do a reaction video with each episode. The only character I'm disappointed in is Matthias, that isn't how I imagined him at all. I also imagined him like a younger leaner version of Thor

Tbh Inej is the only one who looks how I pictured her. Kaz looks great but he looks way too old for 16/17. (However if he’s older I don’t have to feel weird thinking he’s attractive). Jesper looks pretty perfect. Nina isn’t quite how I pictured her but we’ll see. Matthias is the most disappointing. I pictured him tall, big and blonde but here he kinda reminds me of general Hux from Star Wars lol. Ben Barnes is great but I pictured the Darkling different. And I guess Wylan isn’t in the show? At least not until the later seasons?

OMG, I totally agree on the Nina/Matthias picture. I felt the same thing. Maybe it was a bad shot, but their facial expressions both looked totally off to me.

I'm laughing at the description of Matthias as a grumpy dog... because it KINDA feels on point for the character. As for Nina's actress, I'm really pleased because in every bts video she gives me SUCH Nina vibes. I wish they'd gone for an actress who was plus size but in this industry, this is their idea of plus size most of the time. I remember the CW not wanting Eliza Taylor as a protagonist in the 100 because she 'was not thin'. I can't begin to understand Hollywood's perception of appearence and weight.

I really hope you do reactions per episode. I want us all to go on this whilwind ride togther. And that way we can talk per episode and discuss pong after the season has dropped as you release them. I wish Netflix would drop this weekly. I hate that the show will be here and done in one day.
