Words cannot describe how excited I am about this... That _one shot_ where the camera zooms out to show Shadow and Maria, with the fire in the background, and the music swelling, and the slight camera tilt as if something is off... AH it's just SO GOOD!

Thing is its not even 2D animation and its not even a japanese studio, its the same studio that made rise of the TMNT They are just really fucking good

I still don't get the whole ROTTMNT thing. Wasn't that made by Flying Bark? An Australian Studio? I think some of the storyboarders from the show worked on this but from what I understand, that's it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to know

My little sister’s friend was in the other room on the phone yelling back at her mom or somethin meanwhile I’m watching this and the SECOND I see Emerl I SPRINGBOARD KICK OUT OF BED SCREAMING “YOOOOOO EMERL!!! THE GIZOID INCIDENT!!!!!! HES BACKKKKKK”

I teared up seeing this. Animation and music is incredible. The fact this is gonna be 3 parts too. Hearing what they said at the pan and how good it’s looking, So damn hyped 🖤❤️

Shadow is expressing emotions let's GOOOOOOO So hyped for this animation and Sonadow Generations in general, it feels like it's going to bring some excellent story content and some cool lore. The fact that they brought back Emerl gives me joy, I've been wanting him acknowledged so bad

Animation was fluid and Shadow and Maria's interaction had alot of emotion put into it, but having EMERL actually make an appearance was what sealed it for me

As someone who played and enjoyed "Sonic Battle," I lost my mind when I saw Emerl. 0:59 YES!! I always wanted Sonic to lean more on the anime influence. I also think the franchise should lean more on anime influence. 2:54 And yes, I love how they did Shadow's character here in this animation. We're finally getting to see his emotions and personality for a long time. Maria's design really looks like an anime girl. I really hope they can do that for the games, too.

Ok yoooo just found your channel and I already binged all your vids, one of my new fave SonicTubers! Looooove these character focused vids you’ve got!!! Ang gaaaaaaaah I’m sooooo fekin EXCITED for this mini Shadow anime to drop! Shadow’s my second fave character after Knuckles, and that outstanding Knuckles anime mini we got for Frontiers 😭🙏 UGH so good! And I can already feel this Shadow one is gonna be even better! I can’t even begin to stress just how many times I’ve watched this little teaser over and over and utterly bawled my eyes out from start to finish! Just Shadow and Maria interacting, on its own! I always tear up when we get them interacting, I’m so frickin’ happy we’re gonna be getting more of them!!! 🥹🥹 THE ULTIMATE LIFE FORM IS BACK!!! “If the world chooses to become my enemy, I will fight like I always have!” ⚡️🦔🖤⚡️

I love that Shadow's original character is coming back for this game. We need the personality of Shadow from SA2. The Shadow that actually cares and isn't some edge lord. This, is the Shadow I will always know and love. ❤

This one minute preview of Dark Beginnings is better than the Sonic movies, and it really only makes me want an animated movie even more. Also absolutely incredible decision making Maria sound like a child, because let's all agree Maria previous voices were not good, but Stephanie Sheh did a great job making Maria sound like sick child.
