In the throes of World War II, Captain Maude Garrett (CHLOË GRACE MORETZ) joins the all-male crew of a B-17 bomber with a top-secret package. Caught off guard by the presence of a woman on a military flight, the crew tests Maude’s every move. Just as her quick wit is winning them over, strange happenings and holes in her backstory incite paranoia surrounding her true mission. But this crew has more to fear…lurking in the shadows, something sinister is tearing at the heart of the plane. Trapped between an oncoming air ambush and an evil lurking within, Maude must push beyond her limits to save the hapless crew and protect her mysterious cargo.

@@davilakira2701 Well, sure isn't a great movie. It's the type of movie you only watch once. Honestly, I don't like when movies explain too much, it's nice to have mystery and wonder, we got to use our imagination sometimes. I wonder if the baby has some connection to the monster, perhaps the monster is his "father" who turn into a monster or something (I know it's a gremlin but what if they are like, vampires or something similar?). To me, the biggest issue isn't the ridiculously of some scenes... but it's the feminist push over everything. The protagonist simple can do anything, she shoots down every enemy plane, she knows everything about the plane, she pilots the ship and land saving the survivors, and heck... she even take the monster dawn with her bare hands in the end! The other crew member are reduced to simple props. This movie could have been so much more.

Don't watch the trailer, this is actually really fun viewing! If you can suspend your disbelief, not expect historical accuracy or adherence to the laws of physics, you can expect some fun.

Starts of as an interesting spooky thriller. Then turns out shes running from abusive husband who'd kill her, but she can kill a mutated Monkey Bat. And can climb round the bottom of a plane, to protect her baby.

Who makes these trailers, WTF? It show's just about every pivotal scene and or surprising moment. The movie was incredibly silly, but it was also fun. But the main fun i extracted from it's preposterousness was the surprise reveals and moments, most of which, are in the trailer. Bloody glad i didnt see the trailer before i saw the movie. Otherwise those moments of surprise and enjoyment i managed to extract from this crazy movie woulda been spoiled by having seen the trailer first.

Most unrealistic movie possible, with more plot holes than swiss cheese where viewers would have to be soooooo dumb they actually think explosions SAVE lives! It might have been funny a decade ago as there was always the dumbest person on earth who stupidly liked the worst garbage ever made, but now that person (which is apparently YOU) is joined by 90% of the online population, the Trump supporters etc. You see the WORST most childish, unwatchable shit possible & unlike anyone else capable of independent thought, you say Wow! I know it's just a movie. But I can't just sit down and watch a movie and disconnect. Like That scene where she fell down from the plane. So the plan is in motion, wouldn't the plane but so far along by the time she fell that when she came back up the hole under the plane wouldn't be where she was. Also how powerful of a blast would it require for a human falling from the sky to be stop, and then push back against gravity more than possibly 50 meters maybe more in the air, and the shock of the explosion so powerful that the blast not only push her back up but at such a high velocity that the plane has no time to move away from it's initial position, not enough that she is push back through the same entry she fell from, all of that before the plane has time to move more than a few inches. And last question could a human being survive being hit back such a blast. If anyone knows what type of physic - explosion force, strength whatever to push her back and how fast she is traveling - flying/being push back into the plane.

I think I remember that episode. Is this the guy who draw cartoons, and then they got into some trouble and their landing gear got busted. So in desperation, he drew their aircraft with cartoon wheels and miraculously his drawing came to life and save them.

The physics are awful, but this movie is really enjoyable. it's a little too on the nose with the whole "sexism is bad" thing, they could have been more subtle about it, but nothing in this movie is subtle. I'd personally give it a 7.5/10. Well worth watching.

This was nice entertainment. Specially Moretz is a blast. Not recommended for the 'wine drinker', wich movie are A clockwork Orange or Tenet....for example.("Pip pip....what a lousy movie") It was worth the 80 minutes of entertaining..............."Cheerio" 😎
