In Shadow Play, Gorga sees a large shadow and runs back to the Zula Patrol team. Bula tells the team that a space monster has landed on Zula, sent by Dark Truder. Truder's plot is to have the monster eat the Zula Patrol ship, keeping them grounded and unable to stop him. The Zula Patrol learn about shadows and use a shadow of their space ship from a distance to distract the monster and stop Truder.
