Fun side note: Nate Sharp (aka NateWantsToBattle), whose cover of this song was used for Shadow's side of the duel, was featured in the Sonic 30th Anniversary Symphony concert video posted to the official Sonic the Hedgehog channel, as the vocalist for "Endless Possibility" and "Escape from the City". For "Escape from the City", his backup band was Crush 40. So he gets to cross "sing a song with Crush 40 as my band" off his bucket list, the lucky bastard.

Blending Natewantstobattle and the OG version was a good idea in concept...but the audio differences are extremely noticeable. The pitch, tone, not to mention how you'll hear instruments then they suddenly disappear to be heard again in the next second. Maybe just stick to one of the songs at a time...idk. still very interesting

I love the Crush 40 one, and think Nate was only meh on a lot of his versions of the Sonic songs... this however going back and forth, contrasting and comparing, competing with each other was pretty cool though. Nate's voice probably fits Sonic better, but the verse bravehearted hero fits Sonic more too, while Crush 40 and black hearted hero fits Shadow more because he's an anti hero.

I just realized sonic fits good with the secondary parts of this song like the brave hearted hero and all of that

I honestly really like the mod and the visuals. I think it’s really cool you did this and put this song to a track. My main suggestion is to probably put some kind of filter over one of the voices to make the transition more comfortable

I think you should have switched the voices. Just kinda makes sense that Shadow would get the original since it was his game, and Sonic get's the NateWantsToBattle cover since it's more upbeat and higher pitched.

The sheer quality difference between the two tracks, the fact the music is out of sync when they're singing together and the fact that Girlfriend is Tails for some reason instead of Amy.. yeah this kind of blows. If you're going to use a cover for one of them, just use a cover for both of them to avoid the quality and sync issues.

I think it needs some fixing, but the mod is pretty good! It would be better if the crush 40 vocals were there alone, without the melody. They can fit Nate's Remix pretty well, but when they switch turns, the song changes pace quite a bit
