I won't lie, when this started to play when I first launched the game, it caught me completely off guard. I was like "This alone was worth the 40 bucks."

Me too ☺ I knew the theme from the previous one, but this is another level. I did nothing but listen to it jaw-dropped ^^ Such beautiful themes like this one are very rare. Even DOOM with its badass OST does not have such a powerful menu theme. I believe the last one for me was the Yuriko/Menu theme from Red Alert : Uprising.

@@Brainhorn Even though Lo Wang is Chinese, his main affiliation is with the Yakuza which is effectively the Japanese Mafia and most of the themes of the game are based around Japanese mythology and culture rather than Chinese.

I do that every time to configure my graphics settings with msi afterburner open to measure fps and cpu usage and gpu usage and ram usage and then go check display settings to change some stuff and then check the other ones out to enable subtitles and such. Am I blessed?

@@theenderstar Film train is the worst in literally every game. Makes it look blurry. Oh and let's not talk about the shitty anti aliasing options some games have. Skyrim has that shitty TAA that makes the game blurry. I always keep it to FXAA

I always have to do it. Because my headphones are really loud, so I always have to turn down all the stuff in the audio settings. Sometimes I change something else like graphics or display, but I always have to change the audio settings to not blow up my eardrums

game's got a 9/10 on steam, and 8.6/10 on IGN, definitely a good game, but not underrated.

The game was definitely not underrated, I'd actually argue it received better reviews than it deserved. It was less enetertaining than the previous game and the gameplay was a copy of borderlands but inferior in every way. The best part were the characters, Lo Wang, and all the sex jokes.

This is a literal masterpiece. Even the slow bridge really fits the cyberpunk world theme. It instantly reminded me of Ghost in the Shell. And then the high octane verse hits again.

the ost is amazing I googled up the guys who made it and wow, they were involved in the witcher games and one guy is doing hollywood trailers. no wonder its so good quality. cant really think why devolver would promote stan bush whos known mostly for one or two songs instead of those guys. i think this ost is one of the best this year with many memorable pieces like the main theme on par with doom or witcher 3 osts for example

I've been looking for this music for about 3-4 years, a KZfaqr was using it in his videos. I think I searched for more than 500-600 music of this genre on KZfaq and couldn't find it. I have used at least 10 programs. I got help from Shazam and their website but couldn't find it. I told myself that if I could find one day, I would listen to it for hours. It had become such a secret music for me that I was sure I would not find it. Finally, I downloaded 1 chrome extension, if I didn't find it in this, I would open a topic one by one on music forums or other popular forums. I downloaded the plugin and opened the music, it found a result, it directed me to the spotify address of the music, I found it. I feel extremely happy and satisfied. It's my 10th listen for now. I will make this music my ringtone from 2:30. I won after 4 years!

I keep coming back to this and I think it's high time I replay this gem!!! Shadow Warrior 1 = Beautiful, funny as fuck, straight forward hack and slay with shockingly good story Shadow Warrior 2 = Stunningly pretty, still funny as fuck, intriguing continuation of the story Shadow Warrior 3 = A victim of the changes at FWH Studio, inferior to 1 and 2, but still good

It even sounds like something Mick Gordon would compose, even if it is less technical than his standard works. Have a listen to his Killer Instinct tracks, they're quite similar in their composition. Specifically Hinamatoom, Village of Whispers, Polemos, Inferno is another good one

It is indeed Japanese. I can roughly translate some bits here and there. The first few lines she says "There is no need for mercy" and then "Draw your blade". The third or fourth line she says something alone the lines of "Kill everything and everyone". The last few parts completely threw me off and I can't make complete sense of them.

shadow warrior 2 is one of the best games i have ever played, its a shame shadow warrior 3 couldnt surpass it even slightly let alone surpass shadow warrior 1. Shadow warrior 1 felt like a oneshot for the fans, good but just something for the og fans to rekindle some nostalgia. Shadow warrior 2 spread its wings and absolutely soared to new heights..........and shadow warrior 3 breathed in a fly and choked to death on it.

@@Rayzen2077 short, unfinished and the humor took a hit too (different VA for Lo Wang) It’s a poor man’s Doom eternal with similar, clunkier gameplay. Though the Gore weapons were cool. At least we got some characters from SW 1 and 2 back, including one fan favorite. Maybe a SW 4 like the first one?
