A review of the fist of the six Hobbit Chronicles Books detailing the creative process of making these films.
We give the first of the Hobbit Chronicle Books a rating of 10 out of 10 STARS!
Welcome to our latest MordorCast. Today we are reviewing The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Chronicles ~ Art and Design, a book created by the folks at Weta and compiled by conceptual designer Daniel Falconer. These books follow in the footsteps of "The Art of the Lord of the Rings" books written by Gary Russell for the first trilogy of films.
These books which chronicle the design of the Hobbit Films were taken in-house by the Weta Publishing team. They have produced a sumptuously designed art book that celebrates and showcases the creative vision of Peter Jackson and the talented teams he has pulled together to make these films.
The first impression of the book, is its unique shape and size along with the tactile experience of touching the embossed cover that feels like leather and the gold imprinted circle with the hobbit logo. Watch the video for a full review.
